This is such a great thread. I'm rereading some of the awesome ideas, and got the urge to resurrect the Amazeball; I went a little crazy with the ribbon and the hot glue gun today:

My Kelly came without a shoulder strap. It could be forever before I find one to match from Hermes, so in the meantime I made my own with canvas webbing and purse hardware from a craft store. I'd still like to find the H one.

I always fancied doing something useful with the ribbons kicking around in various drawers. I also quite liked the look of the Marwari bag, less so the price tag.
