Uneven puffiness/grains on beige clair—keep or return?

Great that you could change it! Do you have a photo of what your old one was like?

My old one had the same problem as the thread starter’s with the flap’s quilts less puffy and shiny than the “body”, like 2 different pieces of leather.

just one thought. the bottom piece of leather is flat, in bag construction terms. the top piece of leather is bent on top, which will automatically stretch and flatten any kind of skin. It might be more visible in lighter coloured bags.

Yep! The small classic flap is exactly the same as this one. It’s more noticeable when light shines on it. The leather of the flap doesn’t shine and very matte/dull, but the leather of the body does so it sticks out like a sore thumb to me lol. It just looks like the bag is confused like it doesn’t know if it should be puffy or not

Sorry that this happened to you. I can see what you mean and I would personally be bothered by it. The puffiness should be even on the bag and I would have to tell you that this level of quality is not justifiable for the price.
