Your skin is perfection!

Other than eBay, I have not found any place to purchase Korean brands. Thankfully, Sephora is starting to carry a few Tony Moly items. Hopefully they will expand more into Korean beauty products soon!

Thank you, but honestly my skin isn't very good naturally. I actually have noticeable pores, freckles, acne prone sensitive and uneven skin tone. The products I use have improved it a lot and what it hasn't helped, the cosmetics hide. :) Its why I've fallen so hard for Korean skincare & cosmetic products. They've made a big difference for me.

Memebox, Jolse, Koreadepart, cosmetic-love and beautynetkorea all sell Korean cosmetics online. You can find a lot on Amazon as well, but usually at a mark up. Sulwhasoo, Etudehouse, Innisfree and Missha all have English language sites & ship to the USA. Although the Sulwhasoo english site seems to have a very limited selection.

I've shopped online at Cosmetic-love, Missha, Memebox, Jolse & Koreadepart with great results, no issues. All but Memebox also include free samples with purchase.

But I think Jolse had the best sample selection though and orders over $100 gets a free full size product, new members get a $3 credit to apply to their first purchase, every purchase earns credit towards future purchases, it offers free shipping and some of the products are a bit less than suggested retail. So for a first order I think I'd recommend them as it gives the most bang for the buck.

Hello Cassey (:

Welcome! May I ask what sort of thing you were after? What did you want to do for your freckles and pigmentation?

Hi TaRaUnnie, if possible I want to totally get rid of all my freckles n pigmentation but I know it's not possible without major laser treatments. So I am hoping to find products that can lighten them? Thanks

Thank you so much for the information! I will definitely check out these sites!

It seems 'brightening' or lightening products would probably benefit you and help acheive the results you want (:
Here is a helpful list of these style products I found on a blog and I think I will try some of them because I have a bit of uneven skintone and spots.
Here it is -> http://sunhyemi.com/the-best-korean-products-for-uneven-dull-skin/

Another thing that I find and have read helps for brighter and clearer skin is exfoliation occasionally and also wearing a sun protectant, as freckles, spots and pigmentation are a result of exposure to the sun which causes changes in the melanin.
Hope this helps for now..I will look a bit more and see if I can find more products specifically for this issue? Hope you have a good day~♡

Hi bomber can you share what you use for your acne. I got my acne under control but I want my acne scar to disappear or lighten. I'm using etude house but no result so far so I would like to try other Korean brands. Thanks.

I love Korean and Japanese makeup and skincare! Thankfully living in Asia makes the brands more accessible :)

At The Face Shop - I like their peeling gel, face masks and foam cleansers

At Skin Food - nail polish! I also loved their lime underbase

Etude House - I haven't bought skincare, mostly their makeup - decent but nothing I would buy again.

Innisfree - charcoal mask (I think?)

My Skin Diary for face masks

Tony Moly - The gel liner is my HG! I like it better than MAC's fluidline, but it's always out of stock locally :(

I'm actually not using an acne specific product currently and rarely do. I used to try all sorts of stuff, even pro-active, but it would burn my skin and caused redness / uneven skin tone. In my experience, most products I've tried that specifically target acne, are harsh and as a result either cause a break out or other skin concerns like redness / uneven skin tone or severe drying.

Now I just use multi-purpose products that don't upset my skin and cause break outs.

Currently, I'm using Etude House's Wonder Pore foaming cleanser and Cleansing water, twice a day. Followed by Wonder Pore toner, and a random emulsion or exfoliant, essence & serum based on current needs and then my face & eye creams. I use a random face mask 2-3 times a week, some of which are for troubled skin.

I do tend to switch out the brand / line of my face washes after I empty a product though, kind of like its recommended for shampoos. But I do find that I return to the Wonder Pore foaming cleanser and toner after every other product.

I rarely break out now, except under high stress. When I do have a stubborn pimple I dab a tiny bit of tea tree oil on it with a q-tip once a day.

For scarring, any product that boasts whitening or brightening should help fade acne scars. Some BB creams, CC creams and BB cushions also have brightening / whitening affect and can help increase results when paired with a concern targeted face cleanser, toner and moisturizer. :)

Hera UV Mist Cushion & Sulwhasoo Evenfair Perfecting Cushions both have brightening effect and SPF. I've been very happy with both.

For specific whitening skincare products, I've used and liked Etude House's White Moistfull and TonyMoly's Floria lines and liked both.

I've also tried samples of Skinfood's Premium Tomato & Broccoli lines and Momonde Pure white line and liked them but haven't used any long term. I've heard good things about Su:m37, History of Whoo and O Hui's whitening / brightening products but have not yet tried them.

Thanks bomb I also use the wonder pore line. I just bought moistfull moisturiser I'll open it once I'm done with the ac daily moisturiser. I'm not into toner I find it breaks me out more, so only cleanser and moisturiser for me.

With the Moistfull, it does need to be the line in the white bottle. I like the face & eye cream from the basic Moistfull collagen & Aloe lines, but the one with the stronger whitening properties is the Moistfull White line, which will be in solid white packaging like this. The White line consists of a cleansing foam, toner, emulsion and face cream.

When I lived in Korea, the summer had gotten really hot and I started to freckle a lot, its one of the lines my regular, local SA recommended and it did help in lightening my freckles (and my acne scars).

But, it certainly isn't the only brand / line that will work. I'd recommend gathering up some samples of different whitening / brightening products and testing out to see what you get the best impression of before buying a full size product. Especially if you'd had some duds from Etude in the past.

How are you finding the Wonder Pore line? I have heard great reviews on the toner. Which brand toners have you tried? Toners are supposed to be effective in balancing your skin and making the following products more effective -apparently. I find Skinfood's toners quite gentle especially Cucumber and Lettuce (:

I got a sample of Etude House's Skin Malgem All in One Emulsion quite a while ago and found it the other day after forgetting about it :( It wasn't really that effective for me and was a bit greasy and I believe it broke me out..
