i think tokidoki for lesportsac is the most expensive iw ill go for my child (when i have one :p)
it's very cute, stylish and young.
maybe this could go for school bags :

ooh- I also agree! Tokidoki is very cute, lightweight, and seems pretty age-appropriate. However, the designs can be a little busy (I think they're really cute!), so if you like something a little more simple, you might want to opt for something else (although there are Tokidoki designs that are plain grey or black).

We've been buying Juicy Couture for our daughter since she was 10. She's 13 now. So, she's got a gazillion Juicy bags, some Burberry and some Gucci. She had an LV when she was 4 or 5.

To me, this depends on a few things: Your budget, her level of maturity (as regards to responsibility), her taste and other things.

I definitely agree. When I was 12, I took very good care of my belongings, and loved LV multicolore bags. But other girls my age either didn't carry bags, or lost/stained every belonging they had!

Something small like a pouchette. Prob. a coach or Dooney. I would wait on anything more expensive to make sure she can take care of it and won't loose it. I just bought my 11 year old neice her first coach for Christmas. I can't wait to see her face when she opens it up. It's gorgeous.

At that age I got a dkny bag and a nine west bag. And then I collected some freebees from bloomingdales. With that said when I first had that time of the month, I was given a red nine wes flap, and that when I was 14. I still never really carried bags.. high school just a northface and a coach wristlet and skinny.. then a lesportsac messenger. I have a cousin thats your age and she loves pucci and isabelle fiore, anything bright and fun. and another that borrowed her mothers lv wallet with no intention of giving back. So i guess its just who it is, and what you like. I had no interest in bags as long as I had a northface fleece I could stuff things into.

I didn't have a bag at that age. Only a school back pack. I got my first purse/bag at 18 and it was a hand me down from my cousin. There was no urge for me to get any until I was 20.
