Two-Jaw Surgery+Countouring with Dr.Lee at DA results sharing No-filtered photos of me

Hello everyone
I want to share my genuine experience and results from the two jaw surgeries I underwent at DA Plastic Surgery in Korea. It took me four months to fully accept the outcome and see my actual face though I was informed that the final, final look may take up to a year to manifest.
Two jaw surgery is a major surgery and not an easy procedure. Make sure to get enough discussion with the very experienced maxillofacial surgeons.
I went on this journey with my partner but it might have been more intense flying solo. We planned and saved up to achieve my goals and I personally covered the entire cost.

The surgeries I had ( all at once)
Two jaw surgeries and 3-point facial contouring, plus fat injection for my full face
The surgery time - 4 hours ; 2.5-3 hours for 2jaw+cotouring and one hour for fat graft ( fasted 8 hours before surgery and stayed one night at the clinic)
Anesthesia - GA
Pain Management - IV painkiller until I was discharged and prescribed pain killer pills ( Was it painful ? - yes !!! it was !!! The pain is reduced on day 3 post op)
What I ate - Porridge , oatmeal drinks and lquid protein, light taste noodle and soup ( where to buy? - I bought at convience stores )
Doctors- Dr lee dong chan for jaw and Dr,Yoon Hyun Shik for fat graft

**Concerns**
My major concerns were a protruding mouth and an overall facial shape lacking volume, making me look older and unwell. I had braces for bite correction two years ago, so I believed two jaw surgeries were necessary.

**Clinic Search**
I reached out to 3-5 clinics for online consultations, receiving various procedures and estimates through email and whatsapp.

**1st Day Consultation**
Ease of Communication
- English Consultant Vanessa made the procedures easy and quick with her perfect English.
- The staff were all beautiful and accommodating, easing my nerves. They all have very beautiful nose that made me want to consider rhinoplasty lol.(but my budget is limited for this time)

Consultation Details
- The consultation with two doctors including CT scans and photos and waiting, took around 3 hours.
- Consulted with Dr. Lee Dong Chan, the jaw specialist.He checked my bite first and asked about my medical history regarding my dental treatments. He said I do not need to have the post surgery braces as my teeth alignment is good. ( only wafer was suggested). The surgery plans were Anterior Segmental Osteotomy (ASO) for a protruding mouth, square jaw, cheekbone reduction, and genioplasty for facial contouring.
- Dr. Yoon Shik suggested fat collection from my inner thigh and injecting it into the front cheek, smile lines, and sunken lines on the side cheeks to balance the overall facial look.

**Surgery Information**
- Doctors explained the duration of the surgery and provided post-operative instructions.
- Required a medical test and see their internal doctor due to current medication.

**2nd Day - Dentist Visit**
We visited an affiliated dental clinic for a bite wafer with the help of Vanessa. I was told to wear this Bite wafer for a month.

Follow ups with doctors and nurses
1. Day 2 - dressing and laser light and oxygen treatments to reduce the inflammation
2.Day 7 - Stitches removal ( near side burn) + doctors check up
3. Day 14- Stictches removal ( inner oral ) + doctors check up
4. Day15 - Depart
In between those follow ups, I visited clinics to have some regular cleansing and treatments to boost up my healing.

I am happy my smile line is also improved along with my protruding mouth. Surprisingli, I got a philtrum line and I look a lot younger. I am alright chewing and eating as usual. My nostrils didnot get wider after two jaw surgery which I was concerned initially. I will update more for 6+ months.

Omg your results are awesome! Do u have a photo from the front view from before ur surgery (I want to see the difference in your cheeks as I am interested in more projection in my mid face as well). Also would you say your tooth show/smile have stayed the same or has it decreased with the osteotomy? Thanks!

Your nose didn't seem that wide from your first posting but from the second photos I can see why you are getting the nose job! Hope the result comes out as perfect as your previous two-jaw surgery!!! Please keep it updated! Thank you for sharing~
