Ladies, it has nothing to do with the bag being new or used, my SA said it was probably the new material they use to line the bag with or possibly some kind of starch they spray the bags with so the canvas doesn't wrinkle inside while being shipped. It is not an indicator of an old bag or one that's fake or a defect.

My bag was in the back, still in plastic, still in a box, I never take display bags and my SA knows it.

I thought the interior of my Batignolles Horizontal looked sparkly too. At first, I thought I had spilled some powder on it. Now I realize it's the lining LV is using on their newer bags. It doesn't bother me at all, except that considering the $$ I paid, I was hoping the interior would be a little more substantial looking.

OK- LV said that its their new lining...its more protected...and can be wiped down with water now.I called the store..they were freakin USELESS..so I called the 1866vuitton # and spoke to Emily and she said thats just a sheen to the new linings....I know its authentic..they supposably got a fresh one out of the back for me..I was just curious as to the metallic sheen.....NEW ONE FOR LV!!LOL!

I have my strap long and I use it as a shoulder bag...I love the length!! After having endless speedys, and other handle type bags...I am LOVING being hands free..It really is a great bag!

LOL Jill...All I have worn it with is sundresses!!! And fatigue capris once...Its hot wear I live alllllllllllll the time! I think once you carry it you will like it more!

hi tulum people, can you tak epics of you guys wearing it as a messenger andd as shoulder... ive been wanting to buy a messenger/shoulder type of bag to bbe used for travelling and heavy shopping 9work related) in the markets, so i dont want one that's kinda sensitive--w as thinking of a Nylon Prada since it can withstand splashes, but also curious of tulum... tulum or Mezzo?? ugh! cant deside:blink:

That's why I ended up buying both the Mezzo and the Tulum! I have posted pics of me wearing the Tulum as a messenger bag in this forum under "I just purchased a Tulum Gm" so maybe it will come up if you do a search.
