Anyone feel they are trying to love their jumbo? I'm onto my second Jumbo. I sold a beige jumbo a year ago then regretted it and bought a dark grey jumbo about 6 months ago. I thought maybe it was the beige color that I didn't like originally in my first jumbo but now I am second guessing my grey jumbo. I loved the idea of fitting a lot in the jumbo but the bag just gets too heavy and also feels overly large to carry. Maybe it's because I'm petite? But I really don't want to regret selling another jumbo.

I currently own:
Black Medallion Tote
Black WOC
Beige Medallion Tote
Dark Metallic Grey M/L
Dark Grey Mini
Light Grey M/L
Light Grey Mini
Dark Grey Jumbo

Any thoughts? I think if I sell my dark grey Jumbo I would get a black M/L. All the help is really appreciated!

I do understand where your coming from, just had a similar experience with my WOC. Truthfully if your not reaching for it and in love with it you should find another bag like the m/l that does. I hope this helps. :flowers:

I've always wanted a jumbo flap and had purchased a dark pink one. I was wearing it around the house and put a couple items in it, and found it very heavy so i returned it very soon after. I heard the jumbo single flaps a much lighter and can hold more then the double flaps. Although Chanel no longer produces them, i think you can find some in very good condition. So its an option.. otherwise you may have to consider getting m/l.

I love my jumbo and use it lots but have a feeling that if I find another red bag, my red WOC will get sold because I hardly use it. I love looking at it and don't regret getting it but it's not that essential to me like many have here. Do what you think is best.

I totally get where you are coming from. I too have to admit that jumbo does not look good on you proportion wise. It overwhelms you. I think a m/l would look so much better. I also started with Chanel jumbo but it was not that comfortable to carry because of weight and proportions. I sold almost all of my jumbo collection and got boys and m/l. I love all of them. Not a single regret of selling jumbos. I definitely recommend selling jumbo for m/l.

I tried so hard to love the jumbo but in the end I'm glad I never bought one. I'm 5'3" and the jumbo looks huge on me too. You should go with your gut feeling.

Maybe you love the idea of the jumbo more than the bag in reality. I think it could look really good on you but it looks like you don't feel comfortable in the photo. I agree with the previous posts saying you should go with your gut. Perhaps the jumbo just isn't for you.

sometimes we get caught up in the hype....everybody seems to love THE JUMBO. lol. Yeah! So I bought one too. Not reaching much for it. Reissue 226 is has been my bff for years now. It's light and fits whatever I need. The bag has to work for your life style and not what everyone likes. Personally, 5K is a lot of money to make yourself love something...

I tried to love my jumbo too but is was heavy and looked to large on me. I thought I needed it size wise to carry everything. I just decided to carry less lol.

I'm trying really hard to love my jumbo too---but---... I put it up for sale on Tradsey after using it maybe 3 times. However I can't bring myself to actually sell it -- I keep telling myself Everybody loves jumbos. I'm 5.3 too and it is BIG!! But, I tried tying the straps under the flap to make it a shoulder bag and I like it a LOT better that way! Try that before you decide.
