Thank you! I didn’t mean to ask if carrying LV to work is tacky, lol! I love my LV’s! I meant is carrying a work tote (for files, agenda, etc..) plus a purse tacky? I’m having a hard time parting ways with my speedy as my everyday bag but also need to carry work necessities, hence why I purchased the NF. I bought them on the same day in Nov and didn’t realize I’d love the speedy so much.

Aw no worries, I misinterpreted the question!
On the days that I bring a much smaller branded handbag to work, I carry a non-brand canvas tote which has my lunch and papers in it.

I think carrying both bags in the ebene as a set is kind of chic. It is like a matched set. The Speedy can be for your personal items and the Neverfull can be for work materials and your lunch.

Purchased my NF in Nov as a goal/reward thing, and sold my much-used Iena. Well...I just opened this morning and I’m not sure. I’ve been going to work carrying my Speedy B25 in DE (which I adore), madewell work tote & lunch bag. Thought the NF would eliminate me looking like a “bag lady” and work as purse & tote, but I’m already missing the speedy. (I think I like the north-south shapes better in my short frame, and the straps are really stiff.) People rave about this bag so maybe just adjustment, but yikes! Hi! Sorry to change the topic a bit, but has the hardware on your Speedy tarnished? The rivets on mine (also in DE) have tarnished pretty badly and so have the D rings ... I am pretty disappointed.

I think you should sell the bag at the pre-price increase pricing; you’ve had the bag for four months and you don’t like it - I would pass it on to someone else.

why did you sell the Iena? Are you thinking you should get that again (preowned of course)? I use my neverfull MM DE for work and carry my lunchbox separate. I bought mine preowned so it would be all broken in.

Loved the iena for several years but gravitated away from monogram and was ready for a change; been using a madewell tote ever since. (no desire to repurchase) I’m on day 2 of Neverfull and very surprisingly, I like it! Yay!!! Too big for a purse, but so far it’s great for work organization.

Had the NF but sold it within a year of purchasing it. Just wasnt my style...havent yet figured out a work bag which will hold a laptop and other essentials. I too feel like a bag lady with a handbag, laptop bag and a lunch bag!! Its a good thing we are wfh right now...will have to revisit this when we go back to work.

I’ve bought and sold two Neverfull’s...and then even looked at another one a couple of weeks ago in the boutique. Call me crazy, but I hate the NF. The strap drop just doesn’t work for me, and the stiff straps just make it even worse.
If you don’t love it, sell it and get something you truly love. Now, the Speedy B25, on the other hand, is one of my most favorite bags (I have it in mono, DE, and empreinte, lol), so I totally understand just loving that so much more.

I am also a speedy lover, I have B25 in DE, eying on B25 Azur. I dont even use my Alma BB as speedy is too good to switch off.

I used mine for straight 3 months in 2018, the leather has a little peeled off on the middle strap, when I took it out this year, the metal already tarnished a little bit. I only kept it in the dust bag on top of the shelf. Canadian weather is pretty dry, not sure why my bag ages so fast. well since it is DE, the canvas still looks new. I started to use it again, love my speedy

Hi! Have you had any issues with the hardware on your Speedy in DE? I have the B30 in DE and all the rivers are super scratched (so much so that even some of the LV engraving is hard to read) and the D rings are tarnished too. Which is not the case with any of my other LV bags.

I did the same thing with the Speedy----- bought a couple, decided hand held bags were definitely not for me, unloaded them and still occasionally find myself looking at them. Of course now that they have the b version I may have to give it a go again
