I found the price range accurate, and have sold things quickly and others have taken seemingly forever; I've always gone with their suggestion on pricing. To be fair, I've not consigned anything that would be considered an especially coveted piece. The trade off is almost always between speedy sale and maximizing the realized price. My purchases from Ann's have been better than described, and my consignment results have been somewhat less than I would like, but I'm very pleased with the service I've received. I prefer a 'no problems' experience over a quick sale with headaches. HTHCan those who co-signed with Ann’s comment on if they received the price range they were quoted and roughly how long it took to sell your item? Did anyone not get their item sold.
I consigned an item with Ann's (a special edition Kelly) and it did not sell. After about six months I pulled it back and sold it elsewhere. Can those who co-signed with Ann’s comment on if they received the price range they were quoted and roughly how long it took to sell your item? This is my fear that it doesn’t sellI consigned an item with Ann's (a special edition Kelly) and it did not sell. After about six months I pulled it back and sold it elsewhere.
They were happy to advise on pricing but also priced it where I thought it should be, which, to be fair, was probably a bit too high.
Something that would make me happy as a buyer but was less pleasing as a seller 🤣 was that they noted every single flaw on the bag, including minuscule ones that I had never noticed![]()
I have a mix of experiences: I sold an Evelyne very fast at the asking price but one new Chanel never sold after price drop (it sold elsewhere in days at asking price). The team is lovely and I still recommend! Can those who co-signed with Ann’s comment on if they received the price range they were quoted and roughly how long it took to sell your item? The usual suspects (Ann's, FF, TRR, Collector's Square) have been discussed above in this thread, and have their pros and cons. There are a number of Japanese resellers on eBay (some with physical locations) that have also been discussed. The problem is that there are so many factors that go into being comfortable with buying pre-loved, and it's often a very personal decision. First and foremost is of course authentication. Some may argue but I think many members of this forum will agree and have articulated, again, all over this thread, that bababebi is the gold standard for Hermes authentication.Seeking my first pre-loved Hermes bag! Looking for a Kelly 32 in black leather. Need a more durable leather as I am a mom of 4. Looking for the most reliable trusted sources to look for the exact bag I am shopping for with superior authentication.
Was very close to buying a bag from Vestaire but after reading awful reviews on fakes I passed it by.
Please send resellers![]()
My advice would be to stay away. However if you do decide to go through with the purchase, use a credit card with superior consumer protections, such as American Express, to make a charge back more possible.Would love to get opinions about Rebag! And especially, would you buy a Hermes bag from them?
They don't offer sufficient amount of pics to send to Bababebi. And they say that they won't take the item out from the warehouse to take extra pictures. Plus, this item is a final sale item so basically impossable to return. I asked from the rep what I should do if I authenticate through third party and would get statement of fake bag. She said that I can contact them with the statement for further investigation... But the thing is that if they still refused to refund and take the bag back, there wouldn't be dang thing I could do!
Any advice or opnions would be highly appreciated!
Thank you for your honest advice! I don't like it (the stay away partMy advice would be to stay away. However if you do decide to go through with the purchase, use a credit card with superior consumer protections, such as American Express, to make a charge back more possible.
