There are a lot of good fakes out there especially on ebay. you'll be surprised. And IMO, it is fake. Sorry.

A receipt is just a piece of paper and so easily duplicated. I buy pre-owned and new all the time and never have an expectation (or want) of an original receipt.

I actually disagree. 1)many Hermes bags being handmade look like this. 2)date stamp can be either side. 3)I would never provide anyone with a copy of my receipt. good way to aid people looking to use receipts to sell fakes or abet identify theft. I am not saying this is authentic or not but that the details you mention dont raise any flags for me.

I own this style wallet, and I have seen a good number of them. I too see no red flags with this listing.

Receipts are often faked; in fact, it is more likely that a bad seller will promote a faked receipt than a good seller will provide one. If you look at the list of respected resellers and go through their listing, I doubt you will see a single listing that shows a receipt.

I am never reassured by receipts. It is the bag, or the wallet that is important. Excellent images and a trustworthy seller history are at the top of my list of important things. Receipts are at the very bottom.

I agree and a recipt doesnt make a bag authentic or fake. It doesnt assure me and the statement that only bad resellers provide recipt is also not true. Some do and some dont it is the bag that matters.

Thank you. I hope I did not venture too far in talking about fake receipts. I do know that if I see the word "receipt" in the listing title or subtitle, it is actually a bit of a red flag for me. Experienced resellers do not rely on receipts but on the specifics of the bag.

Yikes! I remember reading on this thread a few months back about this particular Lakis. Apparently the seller has gotten money from several buyers and then keeps up the post and then disappears.

Bienchen, this is a response to a request for info for Vagabond204. How was the communication after the sale with the seller? I won an auction, and it is overdue without even an acknowledgement of the sale. I'm very disappointed, but if the seller is just quiet until the package arrives, I'm cool with that too.

Ruelamode is based in Singapore. I have 2 friends that purchased from her. Seemed good. Each bought a kelly and a birkin from here. Seemed to be slow in her sms and email response but otherwise ruelamode is good from their experience

Golly, sorry to hear that. There was not much communication if I recall correctly but my scarf arrived in about a week. Is there a holiday in Japan? held up in customs? You could always email back and ask for an update but I agree it is not helpful to not know if the parcel has even been dispatched. Hope you get more info soon.

Luckily, the package arrived yesterday. I also heard from the seller earlier in the morning. It turns out that the seller was moving residences, therefore, was a little behind on communication. The seller was lovely enough to refund shipping costs without a request for such accomodation. I would definitely use this seller again. I just will not expect updates along the way.
