Gift for my girlfriend
Hi,
My girlfriend seems to really want a Hermes bracelet. I want to get her one for her birthday but can't afford something new. Would anyone be willing to point me to something on ebay from a reputable seller she might like? I dont want to spend more than 200-250ish if that's even possible. She has very small wrists too...

Any help would be awesome because I have no clue about this (I'm a guy)

hey there!

you should check out reputable resellers like Jan on Its All Goode... she specializes in scarves, but she just listed a few bracelets... for example, the Iris Kelly Double Tour is stunning, especially in GHW! very hard to find!

i've also heard that she works really hard to find things for people, so if you don't find anything on there now, she may be able to find something for you in your budget. she is very very fair. good luck!

^ ITA, carlinha! I have heard only great things about Its All Goode, even though I have never bought from Jan :smile1:

Cannot say enough positive things about It's All Goode! Made my first purchase from It's All Goode in the summer and was impressed with Jan's service, response to questions, sending add'l photos, etc.--she really wants to make sure you are happy with your purchase. Love that my purchase came wrapped as if it arrived from the mothership (orange box, ribbon-tied). If you see something you like on her site that is in your price range, go for it! You will not be disappointed.

E-bay seller authentic1018 has what appears to be a vintage Kelly croc bag. They did not post pictures of the blindstamp or zipper. I e-mailed them requesting a photo of the blindstamp, instructing exactly where it was located, and their reply said that 'the metal plate is engraved Hermes Paris.' I recontacted them and explained blind stamping in some detail, again asking for a photograph, and their reply back to me was 'thank you for the info.'

A kind tPFer brought to my attention that they posted my first question which contained my e-mail address. I immediately called e-bay and they said they could not do anything but to e-mail the seller and ask them to end the listing early and relist it so my e-mail address would not be present. Additionally e-bay would charge them zero to end and relist the bag so it would cost them nothing extra. E-bay also sent them correspondence requesting they do the same.

Authentic1018 has chosen to ignore my request and the listing is still live. I am put off that this seller not only refused my request for additional photos (to ensure the bag was authentic) but was arrogant in their responses. And my e-mail address is up on their ad for all to see.

Additionally they also have what appears to be possibly a vintage Hermes briefcase listed and have it advertised as an Hermes Birkin. I would certainly call this leading. I don't know the item so don't know if it's authentic.

Obviously, I am not recommending buying from seller authentic1018.

The croc Kelly listing has been removed A!

I am a newbie and would like to know if anyone has obtained authentic Hermes
handbags from Paul Henri out of France. I was told that he is a well known
Hermes craftsman and has handbags to sell. Any information would be greatly
appreciated.

Thanks. I pray everyone is having a great day.

HERMES KELLY LONG WALLET 4 HANDBAG - ABSOLUTELY BRAND NEW-INCREDIBLE!

http://www.ebay.com/itm/HERMES-KELL...344?pt=US_CSA_WH_Handbags&hash=item2567e88018
seller: titantimescouture

The seams are not clean inside the buckles as they should be as indicated on this site: xx

The seller also refuses to provide a copy that it was purchased at a boutique. The O Stamp is not in the typical location around the buckle as similar SLGs.

if you do decide to purchase regardless, good luck...

I actually disagree. 1)many Hermes bags being handmade look like this. 2)date stamp can be either side. 3)I would never provide anyone with a copy of my receipt. good way to aid people looking to use receipts to sell fakes or abet identify theft. I am not saying this is authentic or not but that the details you mention dont raise any flags for me.

Agree. And this isn't the thread for this discussion. If you are interested in purchasing and want to determine authenticity, please post accordingly in the correct AT thread. Thanks.

ETA: I see no red flags with this wallet ... ideally, there should be better photos.

Hi mistikat, where is that thread? You could remove my posts in this thread as you did before. Thanks!

There are a lot of good fakes out there especially on ebay. you'll be surprised. :smile1: And IMO, it is fake. Sorry.

There are three authentication threads. There are indeed a lot of good fakes out there. But the link you posted doesn't really help identify them.
