They will have no trouble selling the TPM to someone else. As a courtesy, I would let your SA know so he can process the return. I personally try to be sure that I love something before purchase bc I dislike returning.
If he is upset over a return, find a new SA.
I've heard from a couple Hermes shoppers that if you return something back to Hermes, it will have a negative impact on you and your profile. Does anyone know if this is true?
Since your SA offered to find another color for you, I would go that way.

He didn't offer anything yet since I just texted him this afternoon. I do agree with you that being perceived as a reseller is pretty bad but I'm just afraid that this will have a negative history on my Hermes profile if that possible
If you want to sell this brand new purchase, my only advice is that you are not finding any support here.

Return it!! I returned my first C because I brought it home and didn’t like the color (toffee). I was offered a trench verso with RGHW on the spot.
Yeah I definitely think it’s better to return it than selling it right away. I’ve contacted my SA already hopefully she will respond soon.
All bags are being offered. Just a matter of non quota vs quota bags. Evelyne TPM is quite a popular bag (at least in the US) so there is always a long line of clients asking to be waitlisted for one in the the desired colors, then SA will prioritize their clients and offer what they have in stock accordingly. If you don't want to play the H game for an Eveylne, you can try to beat the bots & resellers on their website
