So she sent you photos, you got it reauthenciated and it was fake?
In my case I asked for a Stamp Y mini kelly bag in July €8900, she said she sold it. Then there was one black mini kelly on her website, stamp Z she sold as well. I asked her to source another one for me and very soon she found one.

Then after a few days im chasing her for photos ( from the seller) she sent me photos of a bag on her page in July. I asked and she said the seller decided not to sell before but selling now.

prior to that she quoted me a Stamp Z €11300, but the photo was stamp Y

i had lovely conversation with her, and I did check around and even found her career, seems great and legit. Worked in fashion and studio . Just because this will be my first bag and I want to be careful.

and the price she said with the reason she is building profile to growth, somehow temping me so much. Even though i know there are so many red flags.
Thanks so much for letting me know
Please don’t do it. No one repeatedly leaves $14,000 on the table just to be nice. I’m not sure how that would help her build her profile either. Her website name is ”clueless” that should say enough.

Hi tpf’ers - has anyone purchased from IndayShopper on Instagram? I’m shocked how she gets all this inventory. Curious about people’s experience as I am not sure I would be willing to play the Hermes game. appreciate your thoughts!19D2646D-2D51-4AE8-87F1-9E906507B91D.png

I received my gorgeous B30 Ardennes Black GHW from eBay seller entrance2elegance and can't say enough good things about this experience. It was scary making such a huge purchase via eBay but she was very quick to respond, patient with my questions, and even tracked my package with me. Not to mention—this piece is PRISTINE and packaged so well. I'm so delighted!!

One hundred percent agree. entrance2elegance is trustworthy and awesome.

I've been growing my scarf collection over the past few months and have purchased from Fashionphile, Ann's Fabulous Finds, Vicsgoodies (ebay), and Myscarfrings (ebay). I've had great experiences with all of these sellers and would definitely recommend them! Vics and Myscarfrings were better about including photographs capturing all of the important details of the scarf/shawl (i.e. signature, copyright, etc.), but AFF was great about promptly sending me additional pictures when I requested them.

Relatedly--I saw that Vicsgoodies removed all of their listings on ebay over the last few days. Anyone know what's up there?

Don’t know but can only guess based on a friend’s recent selling experience on eBay. Someone filed a complaint through their credit card for resolution. During the credit card process eBay took all the items for sale off the site. Sadly with my friend this turned out to be a scam perpetrated by the buyer. I’ve seen other sellers’ inventory disappear and reappear and wonder if this isn’t common enough that I need to stop using eBay as a selling venue

I've bought from Vicsgoodies (not H though) and it was definitely authentic and scrupulously photo'd and described. It could be as @Snausages mentioned, a bad apple (or competitor!) going after them.

I was hoping that some sellers take listings down when they are going to be away…sigh…

Usually they put a note on listing that item won’t get delivered for whatever blabbida blah time due to vacation. I waited a month for a scarf for that reason last month.
I actually don’t know if they can assign that note to all listings individually or to their entire store in one fell swoop. But since vicsgoodies had like 100k of scarf inventory then it might make more sense to shut down store entirely if away. Again, not sure if there is one button to press to do that or not as an eBay shop owner. I live in the sell-a-scarf-or-two-here-and-there-mode on eBay lol. Not a shop owner! This seller was by far the most prolific for hermes scarves on there. I bought one I think from them. Below retail price. Not over priced like so many.

I've seen those "out of office" type postings from time to time, but lately I have been following things and find that the seller (or eBay, I guess) takes down all of their listings and then in a few days/weeks, back they are! These are non-H sellers, this week it is an estate jeweler who has done it several times. Oh well, at least one knows not to look for the item if warned. I remember when Vic came onto eBay - she does have a TON of listings, and so many are current retail plus $150-200 or so for designs that are currently in the boutique. I guess there may be a lot of people who either don't know that or don't want to deal with trying to get something directly from H.

I must say I do miss the "old days" when lots of people sold from their own collections - there was lots of variety and prices were usually almost retail or less. Now I see so many that are over retail for scarves that are from olden days and weren't' the hot buzz items even then. Oh well...And before you know it, here comes the next season!!

This seems to be an old thread, and I have a question about the current reseller market. I bought a Birkin on ebay that was just as described, pristine, but I paid a large premium over the cost in an Hermes boutique. I want a Kelly, but wonder if this craziness with thousands over new, for a bag in excellent or nwot condition. If this is just the way it is, I guess I'll just suck it up and over pay. Any comments would be appreciated! FYI, the new authentication with purchases from Ebay makes me feel very comfortable buying.
