This thread is for people to detail their experiences with sellers. More information is obviously better. However, not everyone has the same experience.

I had a great transaction on ebay with Cheapfrillsnorth! Perfect description, she shipped it that day, and fast email follow ups. I am very excited about my new bag and she was more than wonderful to do business with. She kept me aware of what was going right away and responded to my emails as soon as she got them. We had a problem with the shipper and she was on top of the situation which was frustrating to both of us. She was great and deserves high praise!

Now a word about the Shipper.........I was very frustrated with service (very expensive express service btw) from DHL. They dropped the ball several times and their customer service was lacking. We (Cheapfrillsnorth and I) had to contact DHL everytime we saw a tracking delay because they did not contact either of us when first they lost the bag, then could not find my Tax ID number which was an error they had it, then promised the bag would be to me in 1-2 days after that delay but it again was not moving and finally showed up to be delivered 6 days later. Finally on that day, the home stretch, they mixed up the package with another and mine was delivered to another customer. Not a house mixup like it went to a neighbor, they mixed up the packages on the truck. I found the error tracking on line when I saw somebody I did not know signed for the bag. I had no idea nor did they about what had happened. The bag did arrive later 'misdelivery' the driver said. It was very frustrating to find that they can only communicate with the drivers if they have a personal cell phone and that they were not going to have the driver go back to retrieve the package until the following day. He did go back when he realized his error, that the bag he was delivering to me did not have my address on it (sounds fishy yes?) so I did get the bag and it is perfection but I won't use DHL
again.

DHL's shipping cost is totally outrageous. I saw cheapfrillsnorth listing and EH, it looks fabulous. congrats.

johan_blok, we don't see anything bad from the link you provided. :thinkin: What happened?

And that's what our dear Clutch meant. ;)
... and lol, nothing offensive I see there... :smooch:

Thanks for sharing your experience, EH. It certainly improves our future purchase experience.

See post #1135 of the thread "Authenticate this Hermes Bag". This seller has Hermes Birkin 30 fuchsia ostrich, and the answer of gracekelly is that the bag was not authentic. Would it be one example of what johan_blok means?

And similar is a Bababebi's comment at the post #1085 of the AT thread pointing out a problem with that seller's listing. Either of them were response to other members' AT requests, not to johan_blok. So aren't we curious what happened to her/him?

As Clutch said, it would be much more helpful and informative for us if the problem was disclosed in detail, like EH just did. Also, it'd be more fair for the seller. Just saying... ;)

It is my belief that this is the same bag and that these two sellers are likely to be in fact the same person.

As I stated on the AT thread about the Bonanza listing, I am uncomfortable with the auction. I agree with Gracekelly about the eBay listed bag, I do not believe it looks authentic.

Agreed, Baba. Thank you for chiming in!

I have a bad experience with this ebayer too.
Although as a seller and this ebayer rememberangela (that was her id in Dec 2010) was my buyer. I think she has changed her id a few times after.

She bought 2 Hermes Agenda from me. BIN auctions. after sending an echeque, she cancelled it a few days later saying she had problem paying. So I waited patiently (despite clearly stating in my auctions I need "24 hours after auction ends" payment). She said if I have other buyer, to let the items go (which I didn't exactly want to do)

So after some reminding and asking, she finally paid by paypal (not echeque) and I sent her package the next following day or 2.

After a week or so, she contacted me claiming she has not received the item. I took her seriously and I knew Australia packages usually reached in a week time.

I contacted my postal office and was told due to bad weather and influx of the holiday seasons, packages get delayed up to a month. I told her this and she opened a dispute on paypal.

She kept sending emails to me almost every single day asking for her package. Unfortunately for me, my online postal tracking and the Australia post tracking did not help (It shows it left the country on mine, no event on Australia's).

She kept asking and asking, and I did my part checkin with my postal office regularly for updates and sending equiries form.

Finally, she escalated the dispute to a claim and paypal GAVE BACK the fund to her on 20/01/11

I kept every single emails she sent me.

A few days ago, my postal office sent me an email that the package was indeed delivered and signed for by her on 13/01/11

I was shocked and surprised.

This is because she still sent me an email on 14/01/11 saying there is NO PACKAGE (i kept her email)

And after paypal grated her claim (which was on 20/01/11), I asked her to let me know when the package did turned up, she replied saying SHE WILL CONTACT ME when she received the package.

She never contacted me after.

I got a delivery proof from Australia post and sent it to paypal a few days ago to get my fund back.

Paypal approved and saying as a courtesy, they will send an email to the buyer (rememberangela) to refund my fund. If she has not do so in 3 days, I am supposed to contact paypal again.

Ladies, please keep your fingers crossed for me to get my fund back.

As a seller, you can not give a buyer negative feedback, it is my losing battle on ebay feedback but I do hope others with be wary NOT JUST OF SELLER but of BUYER like her. Ebay needs to do something with these dishonest members :-(

she is very dishonest, worst ebay experience ever!!

Thank you so much , mezzopiano for the kind encouragement. At first, I was thinking to tell my story after I got my fund back, God knows what else she may do to avoid returning the fund to me, but I decided to post after reading that I am not actually alone on this ebayer. I think to some of us it takes some courage, especially for new members to relate the details of your experience as sometimes drama, accusations, pointing fingers follows. I do not like these either.

^^ Agreed. Who wants to say bad things about others? We all saw it backfired or caused unnecessary drama, right?

But we also know sharing a bad experience helps us to get through it, and prevents other members to fall into a similar situation, which I believe how this thread has worked as a great resource for us.

And for that purpose, telling the problem is more constructive and informative than saying just who was bad. It's also less offensive and easier to tell especially when we are new to a group.

Anyway, thanks for all the contributors of this thread! :flowers:

I check the "Createurs de Luxe" website n their ebay auction items and request more photos and detail of their v expensive birkin on sale, but the response is rather COLD and rude...

woahh....i'm so thankful that i didn't go through the purchase with this seller (rememberangela)
I got this uneasy feeling regarding this seller and what she wrote in reply to questions of me asking if i could post her listing on TPF. She said alot of things, saying that she heard alot of negative things about TPF and asked me to see this website : www.*********************.com.

I kept all her replies but i'm not sure if i can post this. if i'm allowed to, i will gladly post her replies so you all can read.
