I respect your experience and perspective. My post refers to thoroughly researching what long time TPFers, as well as more recent members are saying about this seller. I myself have purchased from this seller and had a positive experience. But after reading posts subsequent to that purchase, decided to honor more experienced TPFers opinions (who had both positive and negative experiences). I now only buy from resellers, for instance Lady Authentic and Audience, whose feedback on TPF is beyond reproach.

I think you are entitled to your opinion and i have tremedous respect for more experienced TPF members and i learnt so much here... but in my opinion you can not have a good or bad experience till you actually go through the experience itself... I can not comment on the sellers that i have not had any personal experience with no matter how good and reputable they are as i have heard such good things about lady authentic but never had any interaction so cant comment and hope to have a good experience with Audience in near future as have heard really good things about her too:smile1::smile1:

Ditto! Everyone has different experience and "chemistry" with different sellers...

I've recently found "something" at iChic Malleries which I've been waiting with my local H for almost a year. My best friend had previously bought something from her with smooth transaction, so I've decided to go for it because I don't want to wait for another year.... (my SA said he hadn't seen it for a year either!!!) I'll share my experience later and hope everything will go smooth:p
Hope you all have great shopping experience since H shopping is so tough nowadays... ;)

Just had the most awesome experience with sluxury. A wonderful item at a phenomenal price. I love sellers who are fair with their pricing.

Also a great experience with the_finishing_touches.

Love this thread, and thanks for all of your opinions. I almost always buy directly from H, except for scarves and am just now looking at resellers for bags and CDCs. This thread has really helped me out.

I couldn't agree more. As a general policy, it's best to not pass along hearsay.

Granted, but I'd have to know the parties to decide if I trust their feedback/account of their experience, positive or negative. Not to be cynical, but some people do have ulterior motives for saying both good and bad things.

Sure - just as bad if they are erroneously giving negative or positive feedback, erroneous as in not reflective of the reality, or as a favour to a friend, or to be malicious or even helpful. At the end of the day, any potential buyer has to evaluate for him or herself what kind of feedback is out there, positive or negative. What is negative (or equally, positive) to someone might not be perceived that way by someone else.

At the end of the day, it seems just as pointless to get upset because someone has a bad review, in their personal experience, as if they have a good experience someone takes issue with.

It all has to be weighed against your own personal risk tolerance and expectations.
