If your husband will have a lot of time, I recommend to visit the outlet in Marne la Vallee (he can go there by metro/RER - stop is the same as Disneyland; when he will go by car, is on highway at Reims, to the east from Paris). There may buy things up with a 50% discount.

Luxury Genie is great. I bought my black GHW Medor with Sophie just after the new year. She supplied a copy of the original purchase receipt, she's on point with communication. Lovely girl. Highly recommend her. I actually emailed her last week for a friend hunting one of the new SS12 Candy colours.

Just in case anyone is eyeing this bag... I was thinking about one of the seller's other items, and another TPFer kindly messaged me privately to mention a bad experience she had had with this seller, and to advise me to look closely at the feedback. I did, and was glad someone had given me a head's up-- so I'm passing along the advice here. Definitely make sure you can live with the number/nature of this seller's negative feedback comments!

Regarding Linda Stuff feedback.

50 negative remarks in a month is less than 1/3 of 1% of all the transactions she processed last month. That is the same level of negative feedback she has had over the entire year.... 1/3 of 1% negative on almost 100,000 sales in the last 12 months.

You can't please everybody, especially all the flakes on ebay, so if you ask me, that is pretty good. Especially since she probably has a bunch of minimum wage people doing all the processing. People who want impeccable service should buy from small one person resellers--not huge outfits like this.

No affiliated with her. Just an accountant who interprets numbers for a living giving this some perspective.

Hallo, at that time, i werent charge customs and yes, you are right at that time I was wonder if bag was ship from overseas because of the fedex paper seems in different language but it was really really fast, it arrived within 24 hours... I am not kidding

I purchased a bag from Europe. The shipping company billed me separately for the duty. I received that bill about 30 days later. if my memory and math are correct, it was about 4%. The seller was willing to put a lower price on the shipping documents which would have lowered the duty, but I was not interested in that since I did not have to pay sales tax, I felt like it was a wash in my favor.

I just purchased a Kelly from GARO on Malleries. They were excellent to deal with - very responsive, the Kelly is gorgeous (it was the Orange 35 Gulliver GHW that they listed) and exactly as listed (in fact better condition - it is practically mint and its from 1997!). They were great with shipping even though we had a hiccup with customs due to some missing paperwork. In the end it was easy enough to resolve and i got my bag within 3 days of Garo shipping it out from Japan. I would not hesitate to buy from them again (and in fact just purchased a second bag from them!). Their pricing is very reasonable compared to many other resellers. This was my first purchase from them BTW.
