Trio strap broke off

So now the other side of the strap is loose. But instead of sending it back for repairs to France, I'll just have it repaired locally. I'm so over this bag!!!!

I know this is an old thread but do you mind me asking how long you've had the Trio for before the strap broke off? Did you have to pay for postage to send it back? I have had my Trio for only 3 months which I only carry on the weekends and now the edge of the strap where it's sewn to the middle pouch is starting to split! and I have a feeling eventually the strap will break! I got mine from DF. I emailed them to let them know of the problem and they asked me to send it back for repair and could take up to 3 months and I won't be reimbursed for postage to send it back. I'm just annoyed that this happens as I haven't used the bag much at all. :(

Oh no, Sorry to hear that. I had my Trio less than 1 month when the strap broke off. DF payed for postage, I just packed it up and used the return label for UPS. The repair took 2 months because of the August Holidays in Europe. I hope things work out for you and talk to DF again to see if they can pay for postage.
 
I'm sorry to hear about your issues with your Trios.

I have posted my previous issues on another thread (Black dots on Trio) but my strap just broke off today. I am devastated as I have only received this replacement 3 weeks ago and I have babied it for the whole three weeks, being careful and not wearing it on rainy days to avoid watermarks, putting the minimal amount in the compartments etc. I expected a lot more considering the price and the brand.

I have contacted the store manager in NYC on this issue but she has referred me to Michelle in customer service. Have any of you dealt with Michelle in the past? What is she like?

Any advice on this issue would be greatly appreciated. TIA :smile1:

Hi everyone,

my large black Trio is taking a trip to Italy without me :shocked:
The snap connecting the back to the middle pouch just came off! The bag is almost exactly one year old and I separated the three parts only once, but I used the bag almost daily...

When it happened, I was close to the Céline boutique in KaDeWe where I had bought it, so I went there and the staff was really nice. Since I didn´t have the reciept with me they just checked if I was registered in their system and said they would send the bag to Italy and that I will get it back in two weeks. They inspected the seams and saw that the strap had some open seams where it connects to the bag. They said, they where going to repair this too.

I`ll let you know how everything went once I get it back!
 
omg.. i just ordered the red trio :( i'm so scared that it's going to break on me! i know some people have no problem with their trios.. does anyone know whether the year has to do with anything?
