Trio strap broke off

I've been having issues with my trio but haven't posted pics yet. For the price paid for this bag, you'd think the quality would be wonderful. My strap has yet to break off, but after seeing your post, the possibility is there.

Just to update you guys about my trio, I received the bag back from DF today (took about 2 months). Celine decided to repair rather than replace the bag. I was disappointed that the repair was a bit sloppy, I can still see some remnants of the torn off leather next to the new strap.

I hope that the strap holds although I'm paranoid and scared that it will brake/tear off again. I probably will just baby the bag and inspect the strap regularly.

Through it all, I have to give props to Chrystalla for her excellent customer service. She communicated with me throughout the whole process.

I was thinking about getting this bag and it would be my first Celine but reading this worries me. I would have thought they would replace the bag or the strap. But neither and the repair wasn't even great. I might have to rethink this brand.

I kinda am in disbelief that they did not replace the bag for you. I mean, I know you are pleased with the customer service but under the circumstance I would not have expected anything less than stellar customer service.

Makes you wonder, how much must one spend in order to get quality products nowadays? You would think that spending upwards of $1000 would get you that.

I'm still waiting for my large black trio from DF, i hope i don't get a defective piece or i'll be so ...:mad::rant:

I agree, Chrystalla is very helpful. I'm glad you got your trio back & fixed, though i also prefer if Celine had replaced it w/ a new 1.

Also had issues with my trio. Bought a large navy trio and it broke after barely being used (like seriously, on,y got to use it twice and only used one compartment).
One of the snap buttons broke..it pulled out of the leather and attached itself to the other button.
Celine took it to repair it and its been gone about 2 months (longer than I owned it for).
They also don't tend to communicate with their customers very well.
It's been such a disappointing experience so I definately would not recommend the bag to anyone considering it.
Use your money for a brand with better quality control!
