I think it looks good, but then again I'm like the unofficial spokesperson for big watches. I have a 36mm Datejust that I think is a tad too small, and my largest watch was a 46.2mm IWC Big Pilot (but I came to my senses and realized that it was too big even for me )
I love it but if you have even the tiniest bit hesitation then the answer would be to 'keep looking'.......way too much $$ imo to not be 100% sure.
I have a 36mm and am thrilled with it, big enough but does not overpower my wrist. I can't wear my 31mm mid-size though because it looks 'weird' now that I'm use to the larger size.
I feel for you. I have been wanting a big watch too but every time I put one on it just looks way too chunky on me and I haven't found one that I love that doesn't look odd on my wrist, which is on the smaller side. I think this watch looks too big on you. Good luck finding the one!
Yes, it is big, but that's the appeal of the Daytona, no? Anyone who wants/owns a Daytona isn't exactly looking for an everyday/classic/go with every outfit watch. They are looking for that one statement watch that will attract attention and gives off that wow factor. That's how I look at it...and I think the two tone looks GORGEOUS on you!
I love the SS Daytona, but I am getting the sense that you are perhaps not in love with it.
I think for this price you have to absolutely LOVE the watch to death and float out of the store, not walk out wondering if you did the right thing by buying it.
Maybe the Daytona isn't the watch for you, and that's ok. Lots of gorgeous watches out there!
