Love that satchel and cannot wait to see your pics. I am longing for it in the ivory/parchment that we've seen in the DD pics. I was told it was available in Aug but that shade is not avail in system yet at all--not even in back order system accd to my SA.

Congrats on your new lovelies and keep posting those awesome pics for us!

This is what I've been waiting for. I have the similar bag from 2005 in a more brown, kind of like the other pictured but of course very different.

I wanted something CUTE (IMHO) larger and/or something to go with black. This will be less "Autumn" which is good for me living in FL for a while.

They even go with my new CLs (black+dark hw) and this can be my new evening bag, at least for the winter!

I love the sequins! I don't normally but this is a cool update since the last one had metallic threads (I'll always prefer that though, so awesome).

I've been putting off reading this thread just trying not to desire purses too much. I saw a glimpse on Facebook and made a plan to come find this thread ... still took me like a week, hah. Happy I'm doing it now b/c it's more inspiration to get more selling started on eBay. Thankfully, though, this looks affordable, though one never knows! (I'm clearly behind on the thread, reading everything is the only way I know how to get her details.)

Thanks so much for clearing up! I did end up contacting Coach also and got the same info you did. I am wanting the Chelsea flagship e/w leather satchel possibly in the Ivory. :smile1:

The bag in the picture is the Chelsea flagship e/w leather satchel 17785 in ivory but it's not available until August.

I havent been posting for a while but just wanted to say that I agree with you on this bag. This Chelsea is too small for me also. I absolutely LOVE the LV! That is a gorgeous color and a fabulous bag! :p

I just realized my bag is out in the plain leather. And it is twice the size I thought. It's bad not for price but because I want the strap to be half the length. I don't want crossbody + long, I want long + shoulder KWIM?

:-s I don't know if I really can USE the bag now. :sad: Crossbody hurts my "opposite" (not normal purse shoulder) so I hate it and the long strap is not my style, I would only "not mind" it due to Chanel - lol.

I hate that such long straps are so trendy because Coach seems to keep up with the trends so purely. Bummer. :shucks:

I know they are making the rounded top / downtown style "Emerson" in the tweed, but I don't think I like it. In fact, I really dislike it. :cry:

I won't ask questions here about potential others, I'll just keep reading one by one, lol. THAT is why I should have checked here in March when I guessed it might show. Oy.

Has anyone heard if the Chelsea flagship e/w leather satchel 17785 is still being made in the curry color? There is a picture of it in curry somewhere in the beginning of this thread. I e-mailed cs and got the standard not available response...

I was told the week of July 4th it would be available. I was going to get the Curry but now I'm thinking Ash or black. I want to be able to carry it for a long time. I have 2 orange based bags so I think I would like the Ash the best. I hope it still comes in the Ash.
