Baglady is this the bag in my avatar? I know the color is called wine but it looks so red in the DD, does not look the same IRL. Know you what you mean, I expected something with more pizazz!!

Yet another seriously gorgeous bag. Wow. I really do favor the pearlescent sheen. That makes the bag, IMO. (Gorgeous LV, too, btw. YUMMMMMM....And I usually don't like LV all that much.)

I did some digging today and found some info on the gathered madison shoulder bag aka msb named Abigail. Style # 18603
Measurements are approx 11.75 x 12.25 x 5
colors B4 Bordeaux and B4 Black, $898. I think Bordeaux will be released in Sept and Black in Oct.

It doesn't seem that much smaller than the original MSB in my opinion.
The original large one is 14 L x 12.5 H x 3.75 W and when I measure the MSB it's actually bigger than Coach's measurement.

Must start saving... lol :graucho:

Thank goodness is the gathered MSB, I thought it was the regular one that was $495 last year and is now $895. lol. I was like coach is out of their mind with an 80% increase in price.

On the other hand, I loooooove my purple MSB and it was worth every dime. Of course, I got it at the outlet for $416.

Today I was in the coach store and my favorite bag is this one at a mighty $800. I'm about to get a job offer I think, do you think a coach bag as a signing bonus is a bit much. ;)

This bag is soooooo pretty IRL.

Yep, it is! :yes: I have to agree. That's one reason I posted the comp pic of the LV- I was expecting more of that pomme color, but the patent does have a nice sheen. The bag is definitely "meh", especially for a $378 price tag! It's also smaller than I expected, but I should have measured it out since I knew the dimensions beforehand. I'll probably swap it for a larger bag...it's just not me.

YAY, congrats!! I know you will love it!!

I haven't been to a store yet to swap mine, unfortunately, but I hopefully I can get there soon! I definitely agree that it's LOVE otherwise, though! I like the buffalo leather better than the reg. leather in this top handle style, and the reg leather in the tote is nice, so I think I made the right decision! My e/w flap satchel in the caramel has shipped too...that's really the one that first caught my eye, and I'm dying to see it!
