I backordered the cherry Abigail yesterday, and it should be arriving mid- to late November. I'll report back, but I think I'm going to love it!
I think I'm going to be sick. I've ordered THREE pairs of Sapphire boots in Saddle. I normally wear a 9, but that didn't work......neither did the 8.5. Finally ordered an 8 and it will be at the store -2 hours away- on Friday. The same day that my Saddle Lindsay will be at my house. No offense to the lady that posted her saddle purse, but that color will not match my Saddle colored boots.....why can't Coach make stuff that matches other items in their lines??? So frustrating!
I am hoping beyond hope that my saddle Lindsey isn't the same color as this saddle Abigail. No offense to the owner of the Abigail, but that is not the color I am hoping for AT ALL. I am wishing for a British Tan type of color... we shall see, hopefully tomorrow...

I will try to post pictures tonight. The lining is dark dark blue, almost black. The color ink is super cool, sometimes it looks really dark and in in sunlight it looks royal or somewhat cobalt. I really love this bag, it is so different looking and classy but in a fun kinda way. I hope this helps!!
This is an interesting color shot. This looks completely like my persimoon abigail...did you double check the tag, does it indeed say saddle? I cannot get over how close to the persimmon this looks on my computer. This isn't looking like the Coach leather jacket I seen in the saddle color. I would be interested to hold this up next to the persimmon and see the diff. they have to be almost identical.
Yes I am shocked at how much of an orange tone this had to it. FYI I have been hounding Coach for a snap shot of this color. Here is what one of the supervisors sent me yesterday of the saddle color. Which knowing Coach you can never trust the Lindsey will be this same color.

It is not orange like the Persimmon. It has an orange like hue to the saddle color. It is like Liz Cordova said, it is a british tan with an orange like hue in certain light. The tag does say saddle. In certain light the orange hue is not as pronounced. I would recommend seeing this color IRL before making a decision. Some people may really love it. Others, like myself will be disappointed. I was hoping for more of a true light brown. The first thing I thought of when opening the box and seeing the color, was "Oh wow it looks kind of light orange". I have seen the persimmon IRL and it is not like that color at all. HTH.
Thanks for the info. interesting. I will wait until I get mine to decide. I also had boots I wanted to match to it..and do not see this color matching them. I was hoping for something that looked pretty much exactly like the caramel dowel flap color or something honey brown not orangey brown. Darn it COACH.
Yes! That Legacy bag is the 'Saddle' colour I was longing for...hmmm...I know I am actually longing for the return of the Legacy line ***sigh***

It's hard to describe the color of the saddle. It takes on different hues depending on the light. It is NOTHING like the persimmon. More brownish/orange. I took it back to the boutique this morning and even the SA thought it was kind of orangy looking. I exchanged it for the navy blue with brass hardware Abigail. They didn't have the navy blue in the store, so I had to order it. I hope I will like that one better.
