Oh, thank you so much. I did talk to my SA yesterday after she came back from vacation and she loves the shimmer sophia the browner one, either style. She said a number of years ago they made something like that but it was quilted and it was beautiful. Surprisingly enough there are a lot of people who have neck and disc problems at all ages. Surgeons like to operate, but there are other options first. An orthothopedist article I read strongly suggests lighter weight bags for most women. He said no more than two lbs filled. LOL, impossible. Some of my bags weigh almost 2 1/2 empty so how in the world do you do that? It goes on to say to shift your bag from hand , to arm to shoulder and do not wear it in the same place all day. Crossbody is recommended as well for all of you Coachies that like them. Anyway, we buy what we like and only switch if we have to . Next time I try a bag I am going to stay in the store a while and walk around with it and then try it for at least 3 days home before untagging it. Thank you again. !!!! Have a nice day!!!:smile1:

18288 is not the one you have pictured..it is the first bag in post #50 in this thread. I haven't been able to find out what the flap or tote in that color you have posted is. My SA is looking for it, but hasn't been able to find anything yet.

Based on what my SA has told me 18288 is the Kristin Ostrich Large Flap Satchel (MSRP $1000) and it comes in plum, so we were thinking it was the plum flap satchel from the preview pics. The tote is 18303 ($458) - drill down pic is attached. I know the tote is orderable, but I haven't broken down and bought the flap satchel (yet...). I can't find a drill down for 18288, but I also can't remember if the color codes were the same because the flap satchel is elevated leather and the tote is a regular leather spectator Kristin.

Also, if anyone is interested, ballet pink Kristin (SV/EF) isn't pink-pink in person. The color is more along the same lines as the shell pink or pale pink spectator Kristins from this spring, more fleshy than the color of the ballet slippers fob.

Thank you for your help!!!! It seems to be a great challenge to find out about the elevated flap satchel! I hope we all collectively can unearth the info! Thanks again. I now know what the bag for $458 looks like now that my sa just found out about yesterday. Cute! But I think I'll hold out for the satchel....

Thank you also for the very helpful info!!! Maybe the flap satchel is coming out later in fall. Sa s are having lots of trouble getting this info too I've noticed!! Thanks again :-)
