Do you have a place to print/bind the book if you end up making it? My friend created one from her summer last year; it's a beautiful book. I can ask her where she had it made, if you'd like.

Yes, I'll take credit..since none of my pictures will ever get published, mine are mediocre. I mentioned the idea in the BV chat thread and jburgh was dear enough to put the idea into action. Glad everyone is enjoying it and hope a book can be done.

Thanks! There are many sites. Blurb and Lulu come to mind. Prior to putting a book together, all of the photos need to have signed releases from the photographers and tPF.
That's why I was thinking Megs and Vlad could do it with the Purse Forum. They could run a contest, anyone who wants could submit their "art" pictures along with a signed release. The mods could select the best of the best for the book, possibly give a few prizes. The part I don't know is how much does it cost to get a book printed, and how many would they have to sell to recoup those costs. Maybe some of the advertisers on the forum, would advertise their boutiques or stores in the book and pay an advertising fee to help with the printing costs.
I like the idea of a contest. I pm'd Megs about the idea and haven't received a response. It may be they are not interested?
Printing with an actual printer is fairly inexpensive per book once you get into say a quantity over 5,000. Advertising in the book would make it a magazine so I would say no to that. If it's a cost issue, the books could be printed on demand at one of the online book publishers which require no outlay of funds though they do take a huge chunk of the price which is quite hefty. The book could also be proposed to a publisher, also.
