Yes, that is a de passage a moscou in the last pic -- I have been searching everywhere for one, and wasn't about to pay $575 on fleabay! :yahoo:

Waited in line for 2 hours for the sale...picked up some gorgeous scarves!!!..:yahoo::yahoo:
Among them...de passage a moscou in violet colourway...new springs in vert/jaune....dip dye brides de gala in auberge....beloved India in curve/vert....Hermes en voyage in rouge/blanc....les Dix cavaliers in orange vif/rouge....SO excited!!!
Hope everyone was as happy camper as me!!!!! :p:p

The lineup was long by the time I arrived (7am), but it was worth the two-hour wait to finally get into the sale. There were so many beautiful scarves it made it almost impossible to narrow down your choice (plus you were limited to five 90s).

I finally chose three ... a 70 Kelly en perles in chocolate (yummy); a 90 l'ombrelle magique in beige rose/violet/parme; and a 90 a propos de botte in chartreuse/mauve/blanc (love love love this colourway).

BTW... (this is something that could happe right out of a movie) the lady that was wearing the BDG took a scarf I was looking at right out of my hand!!!! Yes... you heard me! I picked up the only scarf with bolduc ribbon (in a shadow print... sorry, I don't remember the name) and it was in my hand when she swiped it out of it! I was so shocked, I couldn't say anything. I just gawked and she started to inspect it and I thought she would turn around and hand it to me, but she walked away with it! It doesn't matter... I'm over it now and brown is not my colour anyway.

Well, I ended up getting the following things:

2 pointu madras for me from mum
a scarf for future MIL (I did my best and was limited by the selection left)
a tie for future FIL

Thanks and congrats on what you got! I can't believe she took it right out of our hand. I think the something similar would have happened to me. My DBF was holding the scarves I was going to get and some woman came up to him and asked if she could try one on! I was thinking "no way lady!" and lied and said there were a few more further down the tables!! ;)

thank you love LV. I was there too with my mother. 3 days before I had a car accident and I don't feel good, but I waited 2 years for this sale, so I decieded to go.
I will post picks later.

I just talked to an Hermes SA who kindly explained to me why there is such a big price difference between the original price of the Pawnee Madras pointu in Canada ($650) and the US ($475).

Different countries set their prices differently, but try to keep the prices relatively the same. (In this case, I think not!) Anyhow,
some items are more expensive in Canada because of shipping and duties/taxes that need to be accounted for. On the flip side, you may actually find items in the US which are more expensive than in Canada as well.

Haven't found anything that is cheaper in Canada than in the States. In general, most things are more expensive...especially when you consider the strength of the Canadian dollar.
