Top five shoe designers every girl should have!

1. Manolo Blahnik
2. Christian Louboutin
3. Jimmy Choo
4. Louis Vuitton
5. Hermes

I don't know why, but I prefer designers who only make shoes. Maybe cuz I feel they really know their speciality? That's why JC dropped to 3, when a few years ago, they would've been 1.

Yes, I like designers who have focused on shoes mainly too. Actually both christian louboutin and manolo blahnik sell clutches and bags too, as well as jimmy choo.

My personal top 5:

1) Christian Louboutin (my shoe God who manages to read ALL my shoe dreams; if I were forced to wear only one brand in footwear I'd gladly give it all up for CL's....from basics to casuar wear to professional wear to evening wear, he's got everything covered under one roof and does it all to perfection, at least IMO.....gosh in a second life I'd love to work for CL PR)

2) Lanvin by Alber Elbaz

3) Pierre Hardy (and the shoes he designs for Balenciaga) -- so architectural....unique....one-of-a-kind

4) Nine West (not expensive but comfy & cute shoes that I don't have to worry about for long-distance walking/shopping, when bad weather strikes, etc.)

and lastly.....well I don't think this is for "every girl" as I know a lot of people probably can't stand vegetarian shoes, but I guess from a design perspective (and my personal taste), I adore

5) Stella McCartney - always so EDGY....love it!

Girl! I'm with all your choices...especially the Pierre Hardy...drooolworthy.

1. prada (i find they make the most comfy shoes ever).
2. french sole (not expensive, but very comfortable ballet flats...plenty of choices too).
3. christian louboutin (love the heels)
4. jimmy choo (beautiful evening shoes)
5. manolo blahnik

IMHO and how the shoes fit my tiny feet:

- Gucci: They are still by far the most comfortable for my type of feet. They also make a lot of small shoe sizes (35 or 34.5) which are very convenient. Although I'm not loving the new S/S 07 designs, there are still some styles which are great!

- Manolo Blahnik: The designs are just fabulous and even the four-inch Seradaby that I have are extremely comfortable. The others that I have are also great, but sometimes, those pointy toes can hurt after a while.

- Christian Louboutin: Fantastic shoes and comfortable for walking in town. However, I do find that the higher heels can hurt my arch (not toes) and that's not good.

- Jimmy Choo: They need to be broken in first but afterwards are very comfortable. I also like that they have different heel hights to choose from.

- Giuseppe Zanotti: Gorgeous summer sandals and the jewels sparkle like mad.

** In addition, I would also mention Roger Vivier, Rene Caovilla, Sergio Rossi, and Salvatore Ferragamo among the top shoes to have.
