I have a pair of CL's and Manolo's and yes they are the most comfortable heels, but I started out with the low end names so I thought I'd give a shout out to all the shoe lovers that are cutting back due to the economy.

5. Cobian - they're actually not a designer name brand, but they make the MOST COMFORTABLE flip flops. Every where I go, I have a pair of their flip flops in my bag for those just-in-case moments when my CLs are too much for me. I also use my flip flops as "recovery time" for my feet ... so one day it would be CLs for 8 hours straight, then the next day flip flops, CLs again, then flip flops and so on
