Well, you're off you a great start with your Bloomsbury! It's a beautiful cross body. Since you have a Pochette Accessories, I wouldn't get another small bag, such as Favorite just yet. The Pochette Accessories can be a cute grab and go bag for quick errands or for a casual dinner or outing. For your next two, think about your needs. Do you need a work bag? A tote? I think a dressy top handle is a lovely addition to any collection and Alma or Cluny are gorgeous options! My own current top 3 LV are :

Sofia Coppola PM in Galet ( perfect daily bag )
Classic Speedy 25
Alma BB in any material/ color, but preferably Epi leather

I will add my children are now grown men and I work from home, so my choices are not only based on my style preference, but also my current lifestyle. Have fun building your collection!
Thanks for your response havanesse... I love your top 3. I am a stay at home mum so not working at the moment therefore a work bag is not needed. I have a diaper bag but would maybe like to replace that with a neverfull. My other choice would be an alma or something dressy but the amount of dressy occasions are limited with three young boys under age 5! Am going to buy the long strap for the pochette to make it as versatile as possible then I think I am going to just enjoy the two bags I have and revisit in a few months to see what I have missed using! A handbag collection is definitely an ever evolving thing!! Thanks again for your response.

You're welcome. I think the way you're going about curating a collection is very wise. Bloomsbury is a fabulous bag, beautiful and functional! I love the look of the Pochette Accessories, and with the addition of a long strap it'll be even more versatile. Considering the ages of your boys, a Neverfull may serve you very well! My Sons are now 29, 26 and 20. How I miss the days when they were little!

Even though you may not have occasion to use a dressier bag often these days, a bag like Alma is timeless and classic, and Epi or Vernis is amazing. It's my absolute favorite LV style. Speedy is not far behind! I gravitate to classics and top handles. Noe or Petite Noe might also be a great option vs NF.

Enjoy your current bags.

Delightful PM in any canvas, Favourite MM in any canvas and finally the new gorgeous Mews in DE. I have all three and use/love them SO much. I do have other bags, though, but I think I could easily survive with these 3.

Oh wow! Can't imagine my boys all grown up but I am sure it goes by in an absolute flash! I feel very lucky that I can be at home enjoying them at this age. Thanks for your wise words as always... I think neverfull probably would be the best 'next bag' as I can always use my pochette for dressier occasions... Then an alma I think but probably as you suggested in a leather not canvas. I am aware this will take some patient waiting and saving but it is definitely worth it. I am very tired of buying cheaper bags that just do not last... That is what started all of this off! Will hopefully be checking in later this year with another reveal ... !!

Thanks for your suggestion.. Love all of your bags... In fact only just picked pochette over the favorite and delightful is a close second to the neverfull!! Glad you are so enjoying your bags and loving the mews such a nice alternative to a speedy.. Enjoy!

Thanks for your response these are such versatile pieces... I had a speedy 25 bandouliere in mono but it just wasn't for me so I now have the Bloomsbury. I am thinking the neverfull could be the route to try minimalism! I absolutely love the pochette Accessoires it is so versatile and I am definitely going to buy the longer cross body strap. I tried the Eva and it wasn't for me (I liked the internal pocket of pochette and the squarer shape) but the favorite was lovely. The zipper closure won out over the magnet though... Good luck deciding!

I think Bloomsbury is a good alternative to Speedy B 25. It seems like the Neverfull would truly be a great addition to your collection!

It is a very difficult decision... I've tried Eva in the store and I loved it, but I think it would be too casual for formal events - and for non-formal ones I already have the NF pochette in the same print.

I've pictured the Favorite MM Mono as a summer alternative to Speedy B 25 DE - I like that it's less bulky and it should fit my Clemence wallet + it could work as a clutch for dressy, but not formal events. I don't think I mind the magnet closure that much as long as it can keep the bag closed.

PA is stunning, I love the fact it stands up on it's own and has an interior pocket and I even like the short strap it comes with - I usually carry my bags as shoulder bags (even with long strap) rather than crossbody. I like it in epi noir, because I think it would be great for formal work events. My only downside is the silver hardware - I do prefer gold, even though I'm trying really hard to talk myself into liking silver... Of course I've also considered it in DE as an addition to my NF, but again, having NF pochette already, it's not something I absolutely need right away.

I've been back and forth on Pochette Felicie, as I've always been scared of Vernis, but Amarante seems very elegant and IMO it's dressy enough for formal events. I like that it's not plain black - but I have hard time picturing this colour in real life as on some pics it looks black, on others red and on others purple. It's really confusing. If it looks good IRL then I think I will get that one first, as I have no formal bags now... Besides, I love that you get so much for that price: it has the additional zipped pouch and card holder (which I could later use in my other bags) and it has a chain which again I could use with any other small LV bag that I'll get later on (Pochette Accessoires or Eva Clutch).

Well I love silver hardware and epi but it doesn't stretch quite as much as the canvas which is why I went with the monogram instead! I agree that the strap is lovely on the PA. lots of people aren't sure about the fact you thread the leather through one end but it is made so well and I think it looks pretty. The microfibre is very luxurious on the epi pieces. I would highly recommend the PA. I know what you mean about not wanting to 'double up' and if you are happy about using the clutch from the neverfull then maybe something small in the canvas is not necessary at the moment? You can get quite a bit in the favorite mm though ...
As for pochette felicie I have not seen one in real life but it seems like a really good price for all of the extras you get with it... Especially that card holder. I have seem amarante however and it is a fantastic colour that I think would compliment most things and other colours. It is very classic and a nice alternative to black. In the future I did wonder about adding a PA in amarante vernis, slightly more roomy than the pochette felicie... Maybe this is something you could consider? Good luck deciding!!

I've actually heard about epi PA not stretching as much... But what I vision using it for, it should be fine. When it comes to the strap - I like it lengthwise, but there is the same mechanism with the NF pochette and I have to say I really wish they've just made clasps on both ends instead of the loop. I've damaged mine, because I've tightened it too much and it's all cracked up (you can't see the cracking when it's looped, only when you undo it). If it tears apart, I'll have to get a replacement strap. I'm not discouraged to get another, I've just learned my lesson the hard way not to tighten it too much...

You're right, giving I have so few items right now, I don't really want to double up just yet (though I'm pretty sure that I'll get DE or Mono PA to go both inside my NF and as a chick little bag for a quick work lunch!).

Everybody seems to love amarante here, there must be something about it! I have been thinking about PA in amarante, but honestly... For some reason the combination of vernis + vachetta seems off to me - another reason why I liked PF so much - no vachetta! To me it's a bit of a deal breaker.

Anyway, thank you so much for your input it's been really helpful! :smile1: Good luck with choosing your 3rd bag!

Neverfull, Speedy, and Favorite MM (can double as a cross body or a nice evening bag non formal)

This is my current favorite combo as well! You have one of each of the following:

Tote
Top Handle
Crosbody

I really don't need anything else. Will focus on SLGs instead :roflmfao:

Great choices for top 3! I really do like the favorite mm but very scared of magnet closure... Mainly due to my three young boys who like to 'check' mummy's bag!! But seriously have you both found it strong enough for everyday use? Thanks!

I don't have kids, but the magnet is good enough for every day walking around and stuff. I actually have a PM (didn't need the MM size). As long as I don't do barrel rolls when I walk about, it's totally fine.

I don't like dealing with a zipper, so I really love the magnetic flap option that LV offers in the Favorite!
