Too big or Just right?

Personally I think it's too big. I had a similar dilemma between ballon bleu 28 and 33. The 33 wasn't as big on my wrist as the 36 on your wrist but at the end I knew I had to pick what looked balanced with my wrist. I wish the 33 worked on me, but the way I figure, there will be other watches down the road and someone will think of our dainty wrists!

The 31mm looks better on you. One thing to consider is the weight too. I have two Rolexes in 26mm and one of them is heavier due to the jubilee bracelet and the weight bothers me at times.

If you ever want to mix it up, you can wear it on a nice croc/alligator/python/ostrich/stingray band to suit your mood!

I really like the 31mm better on you. you have a petite build and to me if suites you better. but don't listen to me :p get what you truly love .

I prefer the 36 on you. Both are beautiful though! :smile1:

Gosh, this is such a hard choice- both look amazing on you!
I love the 36mm on you for a sporty, fun, casual vibe. I think the diamonds dress it up for more formal events. It definitely fits you but it reads more "laid back", casual.
The 31 fits you but has a look that's a bit more dressy and timeless. Both look amazing. I think you just have to decide what look you are hoping this watch to fulfill. Maybe have this be your "fun" watch and your Cartier tank be your dress watch.

Great points...I guess I just don't know! What I do know is that it's something I want to wear as an everyday watch. 😳😳😳

it's not too big. i love big rolex watches. i'm either for small (ladies) or large (36mm) but not in between. looks great on you!

Thank you all SO much!!

Clearly there is a big divide...large watch lovers and smaller watch lovers! Am going back and will try again and see how I feel. It's funny because the more I try the 36mm the more I like it...I think you start getting desensitized to the "big" factor! Stops looking so big!

Many thanks to you all!!!

I like the smaller one for dressy and casual, and the larger for more casual/sporty. And you're right about getting used to the look of the big one….when my hubby brought home my watch I had to double check it was the 35mm and not the smaller one. I'm also in the big or small camp, I don't prefer midsize… I like the 28 or 36 on myself…
You can't make a wrong decision here, get the one that makes you happiest!

Thanks etk! Grrr! I'm a stay at home mom and if I go back to work, will likely be as an elementary school teacher so...casual is my life! HA! I have my small Cartier tank for dressier events so I'm not too worried about those occasions.

Just hate getting something my husband won't like or be waiting for me to say, "Yeah, you're right...it's too big." Ha! Additionally, I'm worried about not being satisfied with the 31mm because I really want a bigger watch. Of course, on the flip side, I wonder if the 36mm will be comfortable, while I know the 31mm will be. Going to try again later this week so hopefully that will provide some more guidance.

ETK...I can't remember, do you wear a 16 Love? If so, you must have small wrists too. Do you have any photos with your large watch?

THANKS so much for sharing your thoughts!!
