I'm guessing we won't hear back from Danny until around mid afternoon, when school is dismissed.;) He is male and 14 years old. (just check out his other posts) Nice LV collection though!

(I'm kind of interested to hear what the lady said back to him, about the fake, I mean!)

According to his myspace page he's 21...

Guys, as I said in my post above, this OP is a 14 year old boy. I agree that approaching the lady at DW and telling her the bag was a fake was rude, but consider the maturity level and the situation. How many 14 year old boys do you know that have an LV collection?

Well, I will say if he really is a child (looks more like 14 than 21 in the pics), then we should treat him accordingly. If he is that young, that's the source of his immature posturing, KWIM?

I was just in Disney and saw a ton. I was afraid to take my Danube since they like to splash you with water on every ride, so she stayed back in Philly!

I do think that was a rude thing to say to that person..when I was very young, in middle school, all the girls had Coach signature demi purses. My mom had gotten me a replica one because that was all we could afford but she didn't want me to feel left out. I took it to school for a few days with no incident, but then one day at the lunch table my "friend" screamed for everyone to hear "OMG NATALIE YOUR PURSE IS FAKE!! ARE YOU POOR?!" I was mortified. It may be a little different than this story, but it still can be very hurtful. Even though we all dislike fakes and such, pointing it out, and esp. while in a crowded place, is never in style.

yeah though we all hate fakes here we would never call anyone out on it ... it's his choice if he wants to express an opinion (and i'm sure he umm might be reconsidering his comments now .....) but I hope that he post the women's reply cos I have to say I am really curious as to her reply .... whatever we think you still got to say he;s got a lot of 'self confidence'

I don't know what I can say about this subject. I hate fakes as much as the next person, but to call someone out about it, if front of people!? I don't even do that to my own friends who have fakes.

I'm sorry, but I must say more on this at this time:

(rant)

I think it's quite un-classy to do that to another human, especially without provocation.

...Did this woman provoke you dannyspice101? Did she challenge the authenticity of your LV Miroir 1st OR say a nasty comment to you about your bag, etc. 1st?

Here at tPF we do NOT condone fakes in any way, obviously. However I would also like to think the majority of us here do not condone nasty and tacky attitudes towards another human being, fake-carrier or not. Trust me, it does not impress us.

(/rant)

Ditto for me. I mean we love what we love but that doesn't give anyone the right to make someone feel bad, especially at the Happiest Place on Earth.

Just like fakes may give off an image that one is underprivileged, a 14 y/o boy carrying authentic designer purse can give off a certain image as well and what if someone called YOU out on that.

What goes around comes around, when you least suspect it.............

If people carry fakes, let them. No need to get in their face about it. I hope the OP matures. And wow that's a nice flashy bag to bring to disneyworld.

OMG, that was so mean. Sorry you had to go through that. Your mom did the best she could to make you happy. And that is why I do not like when people call others out for fakes. Although I am really against them, obviously. I just think you never ever know someone's circumstance is ... And even if you did, it's extremely tacky and low class to call someone out.

The funniest thing is that rich people tend not to care about what other people wear and a lot of them also don't wear designer duds, and certainly not obvious ones. One of our friend's family has so much (old) money, and to be quite honest you can't tell from thier jewelry, clothes, pocketbooks, etc. This is why logo stuff has a bum rap, IMO. Too many neuvoriche ready to put someone else down because of what they don't have. Money does not buy class. Anyway, rant over.
