Lol. Maybe it was his stand in all the time except that scene at the end.
that's what my DH said.....all you could see was his eyes.....not a lot of dialogue either.....this movie seems to have gotten some good reviews but wasn't for me. We were on vacation and wanted to go to a movie. Wasn't much playing so when I saw Tom Hardy was in this, I got very interested. Waste of talent.

Nothing is impossible. ;)
I 've worked as a stand in once for an actress in a TV show.
When her character was wearing a surgeon's mask it was not her...
And I see a lot of casting calls when stand ins are needed for scenes where the actors faces are not seen.
Of course it can be Tom in all scenes in this movie , but in general when the characters face is covered it can be a stand in in many cases.

I had never heard of him or seen him before when I came across a free movie on cable called The Drop starring Tom Hardy and James Gandolfini (must be one of his last roles). The movie is excellent and Tom is in almost every scene. The pictures on this thread with him and the puppy come from that movie.
I recall hearing about that one. I'd like to see it. Both excellent actors. Gandolfini died way too soon. I think that was his last role.

woo hoo...he's the next james bond. I'm not a big Bond fan but this is a very prestigious role....Love Tom
I agree that Tom Hardy is an excellent actor. But to me, James Bond should have more of a debonair side, if you will. If I were queen, the role would go to Idris Elba who is an excellent actor - and very attractive and debonair, too!!

Have to admit that I think I have only seen one Bond movie - Casino Royale, which I actually saw because I love Mads Mikkelsen. Also a fan of Daniel Craig, who reminds me a bit of Steve McQueen - not classically handsome but very attractive - the kind of man that women are attracted to and that men want to be like. (I am old, that is probably not an expression used anymore!)

I know there has been talk about Idris and he is fine but for me Tom Hardy is so hot. I'm old too but that doesn't stop me from being attracted to him :)
I think he can do debonair if he is required to

I love him cause he's hot...now there is another reason to love him
impressed, what a gem...

really liked what he says probably bc it resonates with me... "I don't treat people badly. I treat them accordingly."
