He's one of my favorite actors of the moment. He's so versatile. Unfortunately, Legend is only limited release at the moment so I haven't had a chance to go see it but I'm with you, it looks awesome. I have high expectations of him doing a great job.

I loved him in Bronson, Warrior and Lawless.

It came out limited release in NY/LA on 11/20 and wide release across the rest of the US 12/11....some movies tend to be released outside the US before released here....sometimes they get held up for ratings approval, rights usage (products, music, etc), etc.

Did you enjoy the movie? I'm looking forward to it.

I haven't - I only saw trailer and a lot of gifs on tumblr and Tom really looks good. My friends say that the movie itself is really good, especially because of Tom's talent.

Yes! At first I wanted to know where/when the other actors would appear...then I realized it was only him but by then I was mostly through the movie. He was able to hold your attention the whole film by himself. I really think he's very underrated.

I had never heard of him or seen him before when I came across a free movie on cable called The Drop starring Tom Hardy and James Gandolfini (must be one of his last roles). The movie is excellent and Tom is in almost every scene. The pictures on this thread with him and the puppy come from that movie.
