I don’t understand how some celebs can be uninvolved in their child(ren)’s lives. Kind of like Brad Pitt too. I understand divorce is hard and the primary parent might be poisoning the kids’ minds, but if my children wanted nothing to do with me, I might as well be dead. My children are my life, and I can’t imagine them not in my life.

I have a feeling that many movie stars (and celebrities of all types) are mediocre as parents. They exist in a bizarro world of excess and self-indulgence. It isn’t the healthiest foundation mentally for a child to grow up in. We hear about so many celebrity children who are a mess when they are grown.

Or alienated, I think Tom alienated Nicole and Angelina is alienating kids from Brad. Tom made his own bed with Suri, imo.
I know a family this happened to, it's excruciating to watch irl.

I saw an interview with Meryl Streep and she said all actors are narcissists.

Many are probably great parents, of course.

Cruise does have his other 2 kids though. They are in his life and are members of his cult, right?

Yes, he alienated their mother, Nicole; parent alienation is terrible. I believe Anj did it to Brad as well.
Kids are very easily swayed, especially by their mothers imo.

The two older kids with Nicole were adopted I believe. Cruise had custody after the divorce and the son is still in Scientology. Not sure about whether the daughter is still involved but probably.
