I thought you meant when your toes hang out the front of shoes like sandals. I also have a pair of Gucci flats like that. I'm cool with that. But toes that hang over and get dirty on the bottom b/c "you had to have them" a size smaller yucky.:yucky:

Toe cleavage is great on the right shoe. It has to look like it belongs there, not like the shoe is too small or anything. You don't want those toes to look all squashed up in there or anything. My problem, however, is toe cleavage at work (corporate). I don't want to see any part of anyone's toes in the office. Not good.

I had never given toe cleavage a moment's thought until this Spring/Summer 06 when I started wearing ballet flats so frequently. As I began my search for the perfect pair of ballerinas, I realized that the lower the cut the better. I am totally hooked on the London Sole pirouette style because the toe is so low. So now I seek out pumps with a super low-cut vamp.

i think it's GREAT! personally, as long as everything's perfectly groomed - ie good condition dressy shoe, pedicured feet, neat non-sloppy clothes..
ie if everything's not scuffy but neat, then it works.

i guess it's like chest cleavage, same deal... if everything's slovenly and messy, then it looks tacky. it the outfit is classy and well-groomed, then hey! we have a winner.

i love love toe cleavage. in a classy setting, it's so alluring.
