Tod's bags are just awesome and you will love it. The craftsmanship is amazing and the leather always smells wonderful!
I'm so excited. I've been eyeing Tod's bags for a while now; I can't wait to actually have it in my hands! I think this may be the first of many. 
Congrats! I ordered the Brandy colored one from NM last week. It should be arriving on Monday so I can let you know what I think (and post pics although I have been working like crazy and have had little time to get on the PF but I will try). I figure that it even if it is too big as an everyday bag, I can use it for travel.
Ooh, yes I'd love to see pics. I don't think I'll be lucky enough to get mine that early in the week, so I can't wait to hear what you think when you get yours.chigirl said:

It is a nice bag but it is definitely something I would only use for travel. I can't decide though if I should keep it as I just bought a Balenciaga Weekender. Maybe I can convince my mom to keep the Tods and then I can eventually get it.

That's the one Tod bag I like, and besides the price stopping me, the size is just too big for my daily use. I've also heard it's NOT comfortable to carry on the shoulder.

This thing is huge! My husband called me at work to tell me that it had been delivered, and his reaction to the size of the box can't be repeated here.
When I got home and walked in the bedroom, I'm like, "Holy :censor: ! That thing's huge!" The shipping carton contained a box, and then the bag was inside the dustcover inside that box.It's a pretty bag, I love the color; it's a very soft, subdued green, not flashy at all, and it smells good too, slightly sweet like candy.
I've tried all the strap lengths, but it felt most comfortable in the original doubled-over configuration, which puts the bag at my hip (I'm short) when it's on my shoulder. It's definitely pushing it, size-wise, but I'm going to try rockin' it as an everyday bag for a while. I'm running a few errands this weekend, so that will be the "real world" test. We'll see what happens! At any rate, I've got my first Tod's!
