i decided not to go with the bag...i'm very tough on my bags and this happened after only owning it for 1/2 day...i think i'm going to wait until next fall and invest in one of the gorgeous leather ones !

Ya know, I was very tempted by the nylon d bag to carry my laptop, but thought I would be asking too much of that bag, and my laptop only weighs 3 lbs. I carry it in a Leather LT Jessup tote instead.

Hope you get the right TODS for you soon!
Cheers,

:yes:The leather one is much durable though a little bit heavier

All of you who own leather Tod's bag out there, tell me, does your Tod's leather bag get softer with time? How soft does it get? Does it still hold it's shape well when it is empty? :p Please tell me which models do and do not.

The Zip Miky is quite stiff when new but it does soften with time and wearing, but keep sit's shape no problem. The Rodeo starts out much softer and soften to where it cannot stand up on it's own ! The leather on the My T-Bag is just soft from day one but stands up well. The d-bags also soften a good bit to the point where it can be folded with no damage to the bag. The Nomade also softens a good bit. I have to say the stiffest is the Zip Miky, of the top of my head.

I think the newer leather bags use a softer leather but still very durable. The Mily Easy is very soft to start with (not as soft as the t-bag) but stands up empty.
Hope that helps.
Cheers

LT do you have to keep your stuffings in the bag when say you're not going to use them for the next week or so? The SA told me it's best to do so, but I find it really troublesome esp when I wanna change bags! but i'm afraid if I don't they won't hold it's shape anymore. especially for the T and the D. what do you think?

I always stuff my bags b4 when not using them. Even when I'm in a rush changing bags, I take the stuffing from one put it in the other and place it in the dust bag. I change my bag often, sometimes 3 times in a day . Last thing you want to do is not stuff, forget and oops put something on top of it and get it all folded up :nogood:.

I even wrap the chains on my Chanels and put cotton wraps around the hardware on some LT bags so it doesn't dent the bag. When I say I baby my bags, I mean it. My dd always tells the story about when I asked her to take her rain coat off and give it to me, to cover my leather bag b/c it started raining.:roflmfao: She can dry off, but my bag would have permanant water stains:sad:.
Cheers

WoW! seems you really really baby your bags. I wish I was that careful with them. I've a friend who doesn't even wanna carry her designer bags for fear of soiling them. :confused1::faint: now that is too much. why spend so much and not use them? for me, I use them all the time.

Anyway, remember I was telling you about the miky easy I let slip back in F?W 07? I've enclosed a pic of it. take a look! isn't it to die for? the color and everything... i don't think they make them anymore?
