That's good to know! I'm going to get some superglue then and see if I can repair it without messing up with the glue!

I was paranoid, so I used some of the lilac/purple painter's masking tape (the kind that goes on wallpaper and doesn't rip or leave residue) around the handle, and also to hold a rag in place in case I was clumsy and dropped the screw and had it land on the bag. That way, even if I messed up, no disaster would happen (and nothing happened anyway so I was just overcautious, lol!) Those things are so tiny!

I have tried this fob several times in the store.....now looking at the thread I can't remember which one I like most.....I will have try again before I order.....I love love this fob

Has anyone seen this in person? I really like it and was planning on ordering but the color is orange - it looks pink to me. I was just wondering how orange it is IRL.

Knightal, Thank you so much for posting the issue with the feather fob and the pictures. I just wish i had read this and i would have saved myself $100. This is my most favorite feather fob. It is exactly the same one as yours - grey birch leather fob and blue enamel. Wow! I could not wait to try it on my purse but within the 1st hour of the purchase the fob fell off. Just the clip was left on my purse. I was pretty sad. I went ahead and got the stars with leather tassel to console myself but it is not the same. Also i use the keyring now instead of the clip. It looks odd but did not want to risk. Seems like a faulty design. I wish coach does something about it. Thanks again for sharing.

If it makes you feel any better, I've been travelling this Summer with my regular sized Swagger and I use the long strap often at the airport. I have been testing the limits on what that thing can hold, lol! And I have not had any issues whatsoever with it. I think it is just an unfortunate fluke that some have had with the clip breaking.

My beloved wild beast Swagger had to go back for the screw coming out of the long strap. I now have the black on black and haven't had an issue with it.

Thank you. I know! I was carrying it up the driveway and the long strap just fell apart. It wasn't overloaded or anything! Then, they told me they couldn't fix it. I ended up with store credit. I'm glad they came out with more wild beast stuff this fall. Maybe I can replace it with one of those pieces.

Sorry to hear about your feather fob. After I put craft glue into the screw thread, it hasn't happened again. I also got these mini colorful carabiners - they match the bag colors too:
