I started using the keyfob as a purse charm this week, and it fell off my purse as I was walking. Turned out that the clip was secured to the charm with a screw, and the screw became undone. It was very difficult to put it back and I wasn't confident that I did a good enough job for it to not happen again. Has this happened to anyone else?

Oh, that's not good! I don't use mine so I've had no problem.

On another note, did you use some thing on the screw to keep it from coming undone again? If not, maybe you could dab clear fingernail polish somewhere on it to keep that from happening again.

Thanks for your tip. I dabbed some craft glue on the thread just now. Hopefully it stays put for good.

(For reference, here's another picture to show how it looks when they come apart)

Yes! Exact same thing happened to me as I was walking past the Coach store at the mall of all the dumb luck. I simply walked in and handed my broken pieces to the SA. Not a word was spoken and she got me another one. I figured it was just a fluke, but now I see it's a flaw.

This same thing happened with the long strap on my Swagger. I have to send it off for repair...ImageUploadedByPurseForum1430426877.563712.jpgImageUploadedByPurseForum1430426885.332608.jpg

Same thing happened to mine in the mall on Thursday - too bad I was in the mall without a Coach store. But I thought about it more and decided I'm going to return it for a refund rather then exchange it. While it's pretty, I can't be carrying around a pricey fob like that and be afraid of it breaking again! Now I'm worried about my Swaggers as well, since their shoulder straps have the same clip as the fob. :-s Hopefully they will hold up better!

I like the blue one better, too. I have used it a couple of times, with my cobalt duffle and denim croc duffle. I tend to combine like with like.

Just be very careful, the same thing the a few tpfers mentioned above happened to me today. I was walking with the denim croc duffle hanging from my shoulder, when suddenly the feather and other fobs on the ring went flying off! [emoji34] fortunately I was able to find the little screw. I need to see if I use some glue when I attach the screw again.

I have used the birch fob once with my olive fatigue duffle. Still trying to figure out what other colors would look good with the birch.

 That's awful! I checked my fobs and none have that type of ring, but I did have that happen to a Betsey Johnson bag. I wore it for less than an hour and a handle came off because the screw fell out. Fortunately, like you I found the screw and when I fixed it, I put superglue on the threads before screwing it back in (and then did the others as well). It's been a couple of years and it's been holding up OK, so it seems the glue did the trick.

I have the blue. It's been on my pink ruby Tatum and my hawk feather Taxi Tote. I don't have a pic of the Tatum on my phone, but I think it's in the reveal thread. Here is a pic with it on the Taxi Tote though. ImageUploadedByPurseForum1433128714.258949.jpg
