@LivinADreamInRSF , if you explore a charge back, I seem to recall a thread, perhaps by @Yoshi1296, that cautioned not to close the case until you receive your money back. . . Search isn’t working for me right now, but you might want to do a specific search later re threads where members have filed chargebacks on TRR specifically. (I believe the upshot was he did close the case prematurely; was lucky enough to eventually receive his money back; but not to close was the prevailing advice). But that thread was filled with specifics, none of which I remember. Ans, my apologies in advance to @Yoshi1296 if I have completely misremembered that thread. I hope that you have paid via Amex. I have not had much client satisfaction from chase sapphire (though Ive never done a charge back). Good luck

Thanks. I did have to file a chargeback on them once before with a Chanel bag that was a repaint undisclosed. I did get my money back but it took some weeks & work :/

Update: Contacted TRR, and according to them, the fading falls under their "signs of use", even though not disclosed :/ , so they don't want to accept the return. However, they are researching the type of leather as they stated it as Swift, but it's Tadelakt. I'm playing the waiting game  Would you consider this condition "Very Good"? View attachment 5866657

If there is now evidence that the leather is not what was stated,
the bag is not as advertised and that in itself should be sufficient grounds for a return and refund.
That might not be your primary concern, but if it is the case, it would be an obvious matter of right and wrong.
It might be semantics but it should be possible to make a case that 'fading' is not a 'sign of use' ir 'wear'. There is no physical 'use' that would cause fading; in fact it could be argued that fading is caused by a lack of care.

Thank you. I am extremely disappointed, but I have to agree with you. Not willing to spend $8K on a faded bag
You should be able to force a return:

1) This is NOT "very good" condition, and fading across the entire front of the bag is a major flaw.
Their condition notes: Shape has relaxed slightly due to wear; light scratches at hardware; minor patina at handle; light scuffs at corners and piping.

2) They said it was Swift, and it is Tadelakt.

3) They said it was Rubis/Rose Shocking, and it is Rubis/Rose Tyrien.

So the bag is not as described.

ETA: I see they have now changed the listing to be accurate (TRR is being very sneaky here, I am a bit appalled), however I looked at this listing when you first posted it and pointed out the discrepancies. It's clearly outlined in the chat thread. I remember it clearly.

This is what TRR has been known to do so as to not take accountability & hence potentially
not accept a return.
Hopefully the OP has taken a screen shot or a print out of that listing

I'll have a look. I saved the original listing - screenshots.

Heck yes I took a screenshot of everything. How underhanded of TRR!

If TRR has not addressed this, you have to be pro-active
As mentioned the images, the description all speak for themselves
Good luck & let us know how this is resolved
And I would certainly use TRR shipping return label unless otherwise advised
If TRR will accept the return & there is a retail store in your area, I would consider making the
return in person & have your credit processed on the spot
This whole experience leaves a bad taste personally & the change of description is
very underhanded & sends a very negative message, JMO

Just filed a chargeback after speaking with TRR on the phone about the underhanded changes and still getting the run around. So shady! Chase feels I have a very strong case especially since I even have the order confirmation email stating the bag is "Swift." Uggg! Such a PIA!

Unfortunately, TRR did not step up to the plate & left you no alternative but to open the dispute.
FADING (not disclosed) Wrong Color & Wrong Leather should be enough for you to win this dispute
Keep us posted & wishing you a positive outcome

Hi 880! YES! You are right. Once you open an dispute/chargeback...DO NOT CLOSE IT!

If TRR allows the return, film yourself packing up the bag, how it’s wrapped, and the entire shipping package. Then send it via USPS registered mail or via the means Chase says is appropriate. Registered mail is slower, but it is signed in and locked at every interim location. It’s a federal crime to tamper with U.S mail. Also take a video of the box with postage and registered mail tape on it to prove it’s the same box that you packaged. Then send the videos to Chase to prove that you have complied completely.

It’s a pain in the patootie, but it’s best to cover your patootie.
