Well, she's here! Just acquired this Kelly 32 Eclat So Flash in Tadelakt, Rubis & Rose Tyrien. Not sure how I feel about her? There is some fading on front, which I can see under where sangles sit, so not sure she's a keeper? It's hard to catch in photos, but visible in last pic, which shows under front flap. Not sure once cleaned and conditioned that it'll be less visible? I want to love her because she's more rare, being a So Flash. I adore the Rose Tyrien inside! I paid $7,700+ for her, which seems like a great price?Appreciate advice on cleaning & conditioning - not sure what to do with Tadelakt? I have Luxegarde on hand. Thoughts?

Wow! That is quite a lot of fading basically on the entire front body panel of the bag. Like it was displayed in harsh sunlight for a significant amount of time. Pretty sure spa cannot correct that and for that alone I would return it, much as I like Tadelakt and this So Flash colour combo, but that's me.

The bag, the leather & the color is quite spectacular & with that being said, the discoloration to me
speaks loud & clear as it is in a really visible area.
Perhaps in the long run you will not be happy enjoying the bag as you seem unsure now, JMO
Think it would be a challenge for H spa to make it look better..

You know I love this bag but this should have been disclosed. Clearly the bag was on display in direct light. I do not think it can be fixed, which is very sad. Overdying is not a thing that H spa usually does; panel replacement would likely not work and would be CRAZY expensive; maybe the color could be evened a bit but that is, unfortunately, a huge flaw.

I would expect this bag with this issue to be at least $2-3K less. Only you can decide how much it bothers you IRL.

While this is a limited edition bag, and this particular combo is a bit rare (I see more 35s in the Rubis/RT)...I HAVE seen it before. So....it may come again, in better shape. I'm sorry to see this as I was excited for you to get this bag.

However, they are researching the type of leather as they stated it as Swift, but it's Tadelakt. I'm playing the waiting game Would you consider this condition "Very Good"?

I would push them on this..The fading/discolouration is NOT disclosed and to my eyes its a pretty huge issue not to disclose especially as its an issue that isn't an easy fix or even fixable.
I would consider it 'Good' condition.
I think you are entitled to refund because the major issue is the one that was not disclosed and could only been seen in person/post purchase.

Dont you just hate it when this happens? A Beautiful bag that has, unfortunately, not being taken care of. I said it before how totally disturbing it is that one sees those YouTube videos with influencers showing off their bag ‘collections ‘ in open displays ! I mean - just print some wallpaper and keep the bags in their dust bags for heavens sake. I fear there might be a lot of faded bags out there.
I think the fading can be a deal breaker - it’s not that visible in the photo but only you know your tolerance. I would not mind a few signs of wear, but it should be reflected in the price. Above all though, our bags should bring us joy rather than being a source of regret.

Update: Contacted TRR, and according to them, the fading falls under their "signs of use", even though not disclosed :/ , so they don't want to accept the return. Signs of use when "fading" is not disclosed is misleading to say the least.
If you have paid by credit card would consider a chargeback & in this particular
situation. " a picture is worth a thousand words & boy does this speak loud & clear", IMO

The image once this is disclosed to your cc (if you have to go that route) will speak loud & clear as well
as the description being very misleading.The fading is obvious..
Just looked at a Kelly on TRR & the description was much more detailed than
on your bag, so the "lister" fell short & TRR has to take accountability for that, IMO
TRR describes "very good" as "items show minor signs of wear. Handbags & accessories
may show wear such as lightly worn corners, light scratches & interior wear"
TRR needs to look at their levels of condition because this description is not accurate.

The fading wasn’t disclosed in the description, period. Direct sunlight fading is not normal wear and tear.
