I just won a euc duffle on ebay it's the white/gray/yellow perforated duffle. I always liked it but didn't want to pay the prices.. I got it for a total with shipping $78.99 Can't wait to get it. I won't buy from fp anymore unless I have a gift card or percentage off, cause like everyone says they always go on sale or to outlet, If I don't get what I want, then it wasn't meant to be.
Thanks for the tip. I had it in my cart on the Coach site just a few minutes but then changed my mind. I've been looking around online for pictures of the actual bag. I happened across one on Ebay some gal is selling and the corner of the bag has already rubbed off and the white under the leather is showing. What a horrible look that is. I'm not taking a chance on that happening on a bag I pay $200 for. Apparently the camo is a thin layer of leather over the body form. I could see how it could quickly rub/nick off esp. since the tote is so big on the bottom and could tend to knock into things. Once again a Coach quality issue. I'll pass. I feel sorry for her, she is trying to sell it for $168, no one is going to buy it like that. What a waste.

I know everything eventually shows up for a lot less on outlet, FOS, or Ebay but since I don't live near an outlet and I can't be up at 2:30am for the best of FOS - I felt lucky when I got a Madison Sadie in Patent Tortoise for $145 free shipping, Ebay of course. I don't know how limited it really was since my 2 local Coach boutiques never carried it to begin with but to me it really was limited.
I've been looking for metallic rhyder for a gift. Looks like the 33 and a few of the $495 ones? Do you know what the clearance prices were? And does anyone know if I can order one through live chat since it's not on their website?
Almost 50% off is good. I don't worry about it too much if I get that good of a deal. Once I bought the peony Isabelle at the outlet. I loved the color but the pebbling was uneven. I found a better looking one at Macy's on sale. After discounts, it was about 45% off, so more than the outlet bag cost, but it was worth it to have one I really liked, and the outlet one went back.
Yes you can call and order. I've done this several times with Macy's and of course some SA's are more helpful so good luck.
Maybe give them the web ID for then non-metallic and see if they can find for you. I didn't ask the price but usually in store is less than on line especially on clearance. I'm sure they had some in smaller sizes than the 33 but don't know how many. I was at Macy's at Santa Rosa Plaza, CA 707-523-3333 (there are 2 Macy's in SR).

I tried online chat to order and they said I couldn't order because stores are separate from online. They told me to call the store that has it in stock. Hopefully I can give them a call soon once my kids finally get to bed. They always find it necessary to ask me a million questions or fight with each other when I'm trying to talk on my phone.
I've never tried online chat but just call the store directly. I'm not sure if that was clear in my first response. If you don't call tonight try in the morning as I think Macy's has a new/different sale starting on Thursday (of course they always do.)
Thank you for the help. I was hoping I could get lucky with online chat and be able to order. Just 3 days ago they had oxblood urbane on their site and I got them to price adjust it to 50% off the full price because it was clearanced like a year ago in stores.
I should have patience and try to wait out bags going to the outlet but I don't... I am learning though!!! LOL
A few years ago I bought the Crimson Patent Legacy Peyton at my Nordstrom.. basically at FP.. I had looked and looked at Coach.. (I like to see bags IRL ) before I buy them... I finally got to see it at FP Coach but went to Nordstrom to buy it.. (When they carried an AWESOME selection of Coach!)
About less than two months later, the Crimson Patent Peyton showed up at my one outlet... then they were gone... about three weeks later, the outlet was overflowing with Crimson and the Green Pearl Legacy Peytons... Way better price...
Kind of interesting now... about 1 1/2 months ago, I heard that the Mini Studded Edies were at some of the outlets... I called one of mine and they had the Oxblood Studded Edie... I went to check it out and decided to buy it... Got a Great Deal!!! Apparently Miss Studded Edie made it to a few outlets...
The Latest SAS started and what do I see.. Oxblood Studded Edie for over double the price of what I paid!! I couldn't believe it.. I went to my one FP Coach to check out what they had for SAS. I was surprised to find three of the bags that I bought for 50% off or less, sitting on the shelf for SAS.. at only 30% off...

I strongly considered and almost brought home the periwinkle riveted dakota crossbody earlier this year, but couldn't fathom spending over $500 on a studded crossbody. To see it in the SAS for $315 makes me glad I didn't!! But also upset enough not to get it now. Makes me want to ask... so how much is it *really* worth?

What it's "really worth" is up to the individual. Some people want things now, others can wait until later.
Everyone (at least on here) knows how Coach does so for that reason, I won't pay FP. I can wait for PCEs, SAS, FOS and/or outlet pricing.
