My husband bought me a pursebright that was supposed to be used in our diaper bag but I think I will use it in my carly when it comes. It's great for organizing, but...I can never get the stupid light to go off. LMAO! :nuts:

No prob!! I am glad to help. I was inspired after reading about it in the Oprah magazine (God bless that woman! She's awesome). I went on the purseket.com only to find out they charge quite a lot of money and their pocket size are not exactly what I want. So last black Friday (day after Thanksgiving), I went to Jo-Ann's Fabrics and bought a sewing machine. (while everyone else was at Best Buy or clothing stores. lol)

I can give you step by step instruction if you would like to make it too.

PS. How are you feeling now? (I think you mentioned it a long time ago... and why you would've missed the last PCE)

Thank you! I've always been into crafty little projects (if only I had more time). My last project involved in shortening my Seven Jeans while preserving the hem. A trick I learned from internet.

*whisper* It's an Ali, not shoulder bag.

Yes! That'd be awesome! How crafty of you to make your own! It looks great!

I wonder what size fits in a speedy 30? I'd like one for it and one for my large ergo tote. I use cosmetic pouches mostly for all my stuff. I don't think I'd have room in my Ali for an organizer once I stuck all my legacy stripe stuff in it!! But it's well organized!

I use the large purseket in my Speedy 30. Fits perfectly with a tiny overlap.

Hey if you can find that legacy stripe fabric, I would be more than happy to be in charge of producing the purseket for the nice ladies on this forum!! (might take me a while, but I don't mind as long as people don't mind waiting a little. it is quite time consuming to make it from start to finish)

Whew, I just finished taking pics, typed and posted the instruction on how I made my purseket on a new thread. I'd be more than happy to anwer your questions :)

i have my good days & bad days . i love your blue jean pursket.

i love the thought of me making my own in my choice of fabric. maybe one day i will make my own.

Just looked at my purseket again when I ran home for a moment... it really IS cool.

What I like best is that it is made to "roll" back up and you can take it out and put it into another bag. I bought mine specifically for my Speedy because I hate the saggy bottom on the bag and this helps it a lot plus there are no real interior pockets on that bag.

Whatever they use to make it stand up just kind of molds itself to each bag to make sure it lays flat against the sides. And it's very thin - not bulky or even noticable!

Mine is brown and matches the inside of my Speedy. I didn't want anything to 'stand out' inside the bag and take away from all my cute accessories I use. :p Just something neutral that blends in...

And, it has a cute little tab on it that is supposed to hold keys and the pockets are all different sizes and one of them has a nice flap.

Making your own would be great, but I couldn't do it! I'd rather just buy it and be good to go. I have no patience for little projects... :sad:
