Tiny wrist- any thoughts for bracelets?

Why not ask an indie artist to design a special one just to fit you. There are several tPF women who design jewelry (myself included). Japster specifically is one who works in precious metals (gold) and I bet she could design a stunning bangle. I've made several bangles in smaller sizes but I work in silver.

Good luck!

My wrist is only about 5 inches and I have a very hard time finding bracelets. Thanks to everyone who posted suggestions! I usually stay away from bracelets, but I think I might try to find one with this new advice!

HI---Antique bangles or bracelets are often smaller than modern pieces because the ladies were much smaller. You might look for the string on antique and vintage jewelry. I have a pretty picture of a Victorian Garnet bangle that is quite small. It was made in the 1880's.

Have fun:yahoo: :yahoo:

I have a six inch wrist as well so I have always had a hard time finding cuffs to fit me. Give David Yurman a try. I bought his Thoroughbred 7mm bangle and it fits perfectly. I just slide it on and give it a pinch. It works perfectly.

I have tiny wrists and the Hermes Clic-H bracelet in PM size fits perfectly. On most people it fits snug like a cuff, but on me it's more of a bangle. My thanks to the ladies in the Hermes forum for their advice on that.

I don't even have small wrists but I've frequently taken bracelets to the jeweler to have links removed or I ask about it when I purchase things, usually they can accommodate the request. Just make sure you trust your jeweler.

Ah yes... TWS - tiny wrist syndrome....:yahoo:

I actually did not like to wear (and did not own) ANY bracelets for this very reason... and avoided wristwatches for the same reason... until...

A couple Xmases ago my BF surprised me with my 1st T&Co piece:

18k/Ster Open Heart Bangle (small)

:graucho: Little did he know the pandora's box he had opened...

Luv it! I wear it every single day & take it off only to sleep.

And... you don't see it (I haven't yet, actually) as often on other women's wrists... the way you do the link sterling bracelets...but it's still easily recognizable as T&Co...

Would love to see a picture! If it's the one I'm thinking of, I always thought I couldn't get it because it was too big for a 6 1/2" wrist! Thanks in advance.
