Fully agree! I'm wearing my J12 everyday, for business and weekends. I like it that the J12 is scratch free, even after almost one year wearing, it still looks brand new. My Rolex is just sleeping in the safe. Anyway, good luck on your decision and keep us informed :smile1:

I prefer metal straps on a watch over leather for the durability factor - would you consider the Tank Solo in steel?

I think the chances of me getting the Cartier Combo just went up a whole lot, I don't really like SS watches so I will probably stick to the leather band, but thanks ladies!

I am super excited to finally see some J12 supporters, glad I am not alone! I love the J12 and it can definitely be an everyday watch, I know I will wear it everyday, if it wasn't sooo expensive, I will definitely get one. However, DH thinks that for the some $$$$$, I can buy something that is equally or even nicer that has higher perceived value. When I asked my gfs' opinion, they totally thought I was crazy thinking about spending that much for a Chanel watch, I guess the price tag was shocking to them, I mean, we all know Chanel purses are expensive, but I guess Chanel is not as well known for their watches compared to other brands I am considering, so they all told me to get the rolex or the Cartier combo. Although I love the J12, I am not sure if it's worth the money, how about you guys? Were you considering other watches as well when you bought the J12?

Hi VivianYY! The cartier and Chanel watches both look lovely, but I would go for the Rolex datejust. The mid-size is the right choice, though you have one in 26mm, the mid-size is definitely different. Used to like the 26mm, but when I got the midsize in two-tone (rose gold and steel), I got to love big sized watches.
Have you considered getting it in rosegold?

I got the J12 in white/diamond bezel. No need to worry about scratches and I wear 1 or 2 bracelets with it. No problems. I'm not a big Rolex gal but I would consider a Cartier Roadster, but would worry about scratches as other members have mentioned. The J12 has been around for a while and is constantly changing different features while keeping the classic look.

I wasn't considering other watches because I already have rolex, hermes and gucci watches. Yes, I agree that the price is very high for J12 but I just like the J12 so much that I thought I must have it. It's the most trendy watch compared to all others I have, so I do not regret spending this money ;)
