Another vote for the VCA earrings! And, I like the look of one (or two) dressy pieces of jewelry with casual clothes~ I'm wearing my VCA WG 10 motif necklace with a white tank and denim cutoffs today~ AND, I'm almost 37 weeks preggo so I'm HUGE! haha
Tiffany Soleste Earrings or VCA small lotus?

this is a hard one!! I love the soleste earrings, but the VCA is just so feminine and even dainty looking, they are both amazing pairs of earrings but if I had to choose just one it would be the VCA lotus earrings, the modelling pic of calisnoopy convinces me that they are wearable with casual and formal attire, btw I love how she wears her jewellery she can layer and wear gorgeous high end designers without ever looking like the clothes or jewellery are wearing her

Hmmmm... I'm going to have to do some research with my SA's today and see what the price increase deal is with the VCA. If it's 10% or less on them I might save up.
Thank you acrowcounted... I do think sometimes I need a kick in the behind! Is this an impulse buy? Let's say I didn't necessarily go in looking for earrings yesterday, have always lusted after the vca ones but kind of considered them out of price range until I mentally traded the soleste ring for the earrings yesterday, and then started to wonder what else I could get if I were to blow $10K... then it suddenly seemed like they were in reach in that bizarre self-enabling way we have! LOL. Yes the price increase is a fire under the butt... but 10% isn't enough to make me leap just yet if that's the case. I'll call Birks and VCA now and see what's what!
No I don't think I'd be lusting after the soleste if I got the VCA, those are my grail earrings... I tried them on at Birks once and almost died! I thought I wasn't an earring girl but am LOVING my studs and so happy I got those! So now considering a bit more bling!
I'm pretty sure VCA won't discount but I could probably apply for the birks card and get interest free payments...

Girl! I think you need to walk away from the web for a bit. You've gotten a lot of GORGEOUS things in the last six months, a LOVE bracelet, a Solesete pendant, your diamond studs, and I think your ER upgrade was only a few months before that. And your VCA necklaces were last year too, right?

I would get the VCA. And wear hem every day with every thing! I LOVE fancy earrings for every day! I wear my diamond studs every day (though not as formal as these) but love to wear very formal earrings with my jeans.

Okay don't kill me lanasyogamama (LOL!) but the fates are totally aligning and telling me to get those VCA lotus earrings!
Just called my lovely SA in Naples and got the low down. They are currently $12,400. As of July 1st they'll be $14,000!! That's about 15% or $1,600... no small potatoes! Somehow that just totally breaks my comfort barrier going over 12 and into the teens. (scary how high this barrier has risen in 2 years - gah!)
This is the SA who sold me the breast cancer magic pendant and a few other things... anyway, I mentioned that I'd always regretted the magic pendant as it's just too big for me and I literally have not worn it yet... and it turns out she has been kicking herself for not buying it since it is a limited edition (she's also had a few clients inquire after it)... so she spoke to her manager and he is letting me exchange it against the lotus (I'd asked earlier if I could exchange for a 5 motif bracelet and he'd said no)!!
SO that brings the price down for me to $9,400!! $200 less than the Tiffany ones would be! AND FL sales tax is 7% I think... in Canada it's 14%.
I think I have to get them! I'll put them away (really!) in the safe for my 10th wedding anniversary in a few years, I don't care... this seems like too good an opportunity to pass up!

also at the same time you dont have any guilt for buying the magic because it will go towards credit for your lovely earrings and the magic will be out of your jewellery box and the guilt for buying a piece you nver wore will have vanished
and magically turned into gorgeous sparkly earrings!
