I never take my Cartier D’Amour off except to clean it in my ultrasonic cleaner. I do that about once a week or every two weeks. It doesn’t lose its sparkle!

Mine is white gold and it’s still perfect! I clean it with dishwashing liquid, though, not soap. I have oily skin and I wear perfume/sunscreen, so my cleaning needs to be more thorough.

Thank you! I was just going to ask or inquire about perfume and lotions. I have oily skin as well, and I’ve been avoiding putting lotion near the necklace since I don’t take it off. I use a body balm so it’s a little greasy. I also try not to spray perfume anywhere near the necklace. Only higher up on my neck and not letting the perfume drip down onto the necklace. I think I’m going to stop babying it. Most of my jewelry with diamonds I clean with Mrs. Meyers dish soap or Dr. Bronner’s baby soap. This necklace is truly stunning. I also ordered the 2 Diamond Love Necklace as well.
