My birthday is on the 16th and I was going to treat myself by getting the heart toggle necklace. Guess that's not happening anymore. Their prices for silver really are ridiculous.

I know that a few years back, my BFF was gifted with a sterling peretti open heart ring and back then it retailed for $135. After a couple of price increases, it now retails for $200!

The sterling full heart ring with diamond... i had my eye on it back then, but "couldn't afford it" back when it retailed for $350... it is now $595! Really priced out my range now. Especially for sterling, diamond or not.

I think the answer is simple. DON'T but from them right now. If we refuse to pay the prices they will lower them. But unfortunately there are enough that will go ahead and buy from Tiffanys so they know they can raise their prices.

ouch!!! I think part of the reason for the huge increase is b/c i think they held off on it last year...and even decreased some prices on a couple of pieces...so this year they didn't hold back at all! It makes me not want to buy more at least for now...until i forget how much it was...but at least all the pieces i have went up in value?!?

It's very interesting to me that certain pieces go up a lot and others not so much....

I just checked Tiffany.com and TWO of the rings I own did NOT go in price. GET THEM WHILE U CAN AT OLD PRICE!!!!

I got this one TWO years ago and it's the SAME price

looks like australian prices went up, so glad i got my bracelet already (although the charm is being soldered on and 2 links removed, so i should get it next week), but it looks like i won't be getting a lock charm for a while. the price for the mini bead bracelet went down by $5 though, strange

Wow! That's just crazy! If it's a diamond necklace you are looking for, I would rather go to a private jeweller for that... Not exactly Tiffany and won't be able to get the exact same design but at least I know what I am paying for (rather than arbitrary increases). I love Tiffany pieces but I think I am gonna sit them out for a while. No wonder there isn't a link to the old category of "items $150 and below" any longer... Just glad I satisfied my latest lemming with my mini mini starfish and jade open heart necklaces last month!
