Sorry, what does across the board mean? All products? Thanks!
I’m not sure but I presumed when she said “across the board” that means all products are affected by the increase.
Yes, all products are affected. It’s just a general expression used commonly to denote ‘ applying to all ’. I believe it has its roots in horse racing where it was common betting of equal stakes for horses to place, show, win.

Happy shopping folks!

I am in the US and I messaged my SA today. He said there will be a price increase in September but only on leather and home accessories
Huge apologies for the misinformation! My SA said he was misinformed ugh. My store now confirmed the price increase for tomorrow as well. I stopped by and picked up the elongated Hardwear necklace which is now $2800 and I was told its going up to $3k tomorrow.

I am currently checking on German, US and South Korean website for the T1 narrow diamond hinged bangle in yellow gold. On the US site the price is already up from 13.300 to 13.800 Dollar. South Korea and Germany no price increase yet.
Btw, the same bracelet is with Won - Euro calculation actually cheaper in South Korea. But we live here so technically tax free from Germany is cheaper for me (I am German).

The price increase is unjustified and asinine. I saw the Tiffany diamond wg t go to 82k and that was around 45-50k just a few years ago. The graduated hardware necklace is now 18k up from 10k something a few years ago. So long Tiffany. Is there anyone really around to pay these insanely inflated prices? We’re in a post pandemic world but world economies are slowing.

This is quite ridiculous my T1 ring in white gold with diamonds was $1990 at the start of January of this year and increased to $2375!!! That is $385+ increase on a tiny thin ring!

I love Tiffanys and I hope to buy their jewelry for a very long time but these price increases are becoming insane!

Does anyone know why these price increases are becoming more common with designer jewelry?

Yes, now when LVMH owns Tiffany's and they have a new CEO Anthony Ledru, 3 price increases a year is their pricing strategy, a "new normal".

That is crazy! 3 price increases a year!

I’ve heard allegedly companies like LVMH are doing this to gain profit since they are not having a lot of people buying as they used to. So by keeping the quality the same and increasing the prices the would be able to maintain profit.

I’m not sure how true this statement is but I would like to know if this plays a part of these crazy price increases!
