I'm glad you PMd me, I had not looked at this thread!!!
I don't prefer true symmetry/matching with bands. . . As evidenced by my own choice of bands.
I do prefer a slightly thinner band or same size however. Aesthetically that appeals more to me. And if you do like to sandwich your ring, I like Einsiene's method.
Have you looked at Beverley K? Have you looked at my old thread lately? All mine are Beverley K.

Thanks Swanky! :hugs:

I will look at Beverley K as I LOVE your rings. Off to Google now......

Other alternative is to HALO my ring.......but I think I'm going to get slapped if I bring this up again LOL!

I like halos sometimes, ESPECIALLY delicate ones and not on already ginormous stones!

yes....DELICATE is the way I'd go....nothing crazy and probably round in shape....as opposed to this "squared" round.

This is MY diamond in this temp setting btw......done PRIOR to my solitaire being set

Tempting........

OR

a new wedding band. I can always save the Halo for a future Anniversary if I crave it in 5 years......

It would definitely up the sparkle. I have a weird opinion sometimes about rings with diamonds in them. The way the little melee sometimes reflect light, it can make the center stone look less amazing when all the little melee are blingin' and the center stone is "dark" in the sun. Does that make sense?

Yep.....I hear ya

Thing is, it had plenty of sparkle IRL......

Have to think.......can't be in a rush....and I don't want to make a mistake.

Besides, I think I'm better off leaving it alone......but I never (or hardly) ever listen to sound advice.

Someone slap me.

I love the solitare, you diamond is so sparkly and lively, I almost think a halo would take some of that away.

I think switching up bands like Einsiene is beautiful as well as sandwiching or pretty much anything you decide to do!

P.S. Is the Etoile your original wedding band??

Yes.....the etoile is my original band which I would keep. :smile1:

At this point and time, I'm leaning towards ONE Novo or the 2mm Channel....maybe 2.5mm......

This is NEW LUCIDA (the center stone is about 4 carats). For a halo setting, I might prefer other shapes to RB.:D

I normally don't like a sprit shank, but I love this curvy delicate shank! It seems I still love 4-prong.:p
I may reset my original e-ring? umm... I don't know...

Oh, sorry! I am derailing...:smile1:
