Tiffany Lock collection!

Does anyone here own the lock necklace in a size small that can give me feedback? How has it been holding up? I’m trying to see if it’s worth getting! I love all the collection but this suits me best. I’m eyeing the RG (no diamonds).
Update:

Got it. So worth it! It has a chunky and durable chain too

I paired it here with my open circle necklace, also from tiffany!

Thank you! Here is my pricing strategy dissertation. When the pink sapphire lock first came out it was $3550 with the paperclip chain. The paperclip chain takes up more space but it’s quite dainty. With this new release they used the generic Tiffany chain which I believe has similar amounts of gold to the paperclip chain bc it’s more dense due to the design. So they cost cut by using a generic Tiffany chain while still giving you the gold (but I wouldn’t put it past them to give you less gold either). I personally prefer the daintier, dense chain bc the paperclip chain looks less shiny since the links are all spread out and thin. Note I also have the regular size lock necklace in yellow gold no pave bc I’m ill.
I weighed both chains today and they weigh the same *gasp*. Both 0.2 grams (I assume not oz).

Hi! I am contemplating the lock bracelet but not sure which to choose! Options are white gold with diamonds, or the 2 tone, yellow gold with white gold/diamonds. These would be the classic size, not narrow. Currently my stack is a tennis bracelet (white gold), yellow gold Cartier JUC, Van Cleef bracelet in yellow gold (although I wear this less than my other bracelets) and I will be adding a yellow gold Love bracelet hopefully sometime this year. My e-ring is platinum and my tennis necklace is white gold if that makes any difference! I like mixing white and yellow but I’m torn, the all white Lock would match my tennis bracelet as well as my e-ring and tennis necklace but would the 2-tone look better with all of my yellow gold pieces? Thanks in advance!

I think you might like one of the 2 tone ones. I have tried both the original and the narrow and in both of them, the yellow gold/white gold with pave on the chunky yellow gold is my favourite. It plays well with your yellow gold jewelry and also with your platinum and white gold pieces. The all white gold with half pave is fabulous but, for myself I am undecided if it's what I want. I am also considering one of the Metro bangles. I am also not convinced I like the Lock at all with the Van Cleef & Arpels Alhambra bracelet.

If you can swing it, wear the jewelry you hope to wear with it and go try a few on. Take pictures, this is essential. The camera is impartial. Make sure to include your rings in your hand shots.

Adding to the above, what I am leaning towards is a two tone narrow Lock and a white gold pavé bangle of some sort. The square cut tennis bracelet wiggles around to much and it's not something I wear day to day. I'm looking for something I will get more use out of.

I agree with @CoastalCouture about the value of trying them on. Will definitely help you make your decision.
That said, based on what you've said I think the two tone would work very well.

I have almost the same stack as you, and I had the dilemma of choosing between the YG Lock (though without diamonds) and the two-tone with diamonds. I vote for the two-tone. It really grabbed my eye once I tried it on in person, and it is really versatile and fits in with my white gold and yellow gold jewelry. Your best bet is to try it on in the store if you can. But I'm very happy with my two-tone!

I'm in a dilemma. I like the look of the lock necklaces (which is why I've collected two), but I've always been ambivalent about the lock bracelet. I now realize in hindsight after all the Tiffany items I collected, I could have gotten 2 lock bracelets. Has anyone else felt this kind of hesitation? At the time (and still now to some extent) I felt like the lock bracelet design looked too generic when worn on the wrist. Or did anyone start small such as with the necklaces and then build up to the bracelet(s)? Or did you buy bracelet(s) with a similar look to the lock bracelet when worn?

I just bought the lock in rose gold with diamonds and white gold (the thin one) and I stack it with other bracelets! I love it, super comfortable and pretty.

Went to Tiffany’s today and I’m tempted by the reg lock or lock with pave…also tried the thin!
